Oscar Pistorius is shown reenacting the events leading up to and following his shooting of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp in a leaked video.
Oscar Pistorius Reenacts Reeva Steenkamp's Death
Pistorius’ uncle Arnold Pistorius had reportedly hired the Cleveland-based forensic animation firm the Evidence Room to create an animated video that Pistorius’ lawyers could use for his defense. Ultimately, the video was not shown during the trial and ended up in the hands of Australia’s Channel Seven.
In the video, shot at Arnold Pistorius home, Pistorius is shown moving on his stumps towards a bathroom door, his arm raised as if he was holding a gun. In the bathroom, his sister Aimee played the part of Steenkamp and is shown slumped over the toilet. Pistorius then shows how he lifted Steenkamp up and brought her down the stairs.

var brightcovevideoid = '3566732252001'; Oscar Pistorius was ordered by a judge on Wednesday to undergo psychiatric tests, meaning that the double-amputee athlete's murder trial will be interrupted, possibly for two months. The decision by Judge Thokozile Masipa followed a request for a psychiatric evaluation by the chief prosecutor, Gerrie Nel. The prosecutor had said he had no option but to ask for it after an expert witness for the defense testified that Pistorius had an anxiety disorder since childhood that may have influenced his judgment when he fatally shot his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. Oscar Pistorius is selling the house where he killed Reeva Steenkamp to raise money for his legal bills, the athlete's lawyer said Thursday. Pistorius has not returned to the upscale Pretoria villa since the day he shot his girlfriend in a bathroom over a year ago and "cannot contemplate ever returning to live there again," lawyer Brian Webber said. Pistorius had planned to keep his home "sealed" until after his ongoing murder trial, Webber said, but it is now necessary to sell it to fund his defense because the double amputee's trial will last longer than the initial three-week period that was predicted.
