- Chad Siwik (pronounced Civic) is a singer/songwriter/producer with a background in dance, performing, and recording arts. He is a Tenor with a three-octave range. His style is Pop/Dance with electronic and 80's influences. As a child, Chad studied gymnastics which he says affected his dancing style. Madonna and Paula Abdul were two early influences. The new self-titled album Chad Siwik is out everywhere now.
After writing and recording a piano-based ballad called "What I Need" at a local studio in his hometown, Chad was determined to pursue music. He moved to Orlando to study music production and focus on his first full length studio album. Chad coordinated a team for his debut album Prince Lightmare, which he wrote and produced with audio engineer Eric McCullough. On March 4, 2010, he posted the first video blog on YouTube about the making of the album. The album is mostly pop and dance music with strong 80's influences. In interviews, Chad mentioned his love of the 1980s despite not having been born early enough to properly enjoy it. Prince Lightmare was released August 16, 2011 on all major online music retailers. Chad Siwik performed in Europe and the east coast of the United States to promote the release. He filmed and released music videos for songs "Nightmare", "Megaman", and "Magic" from the album.
In 2011, Chad moved to Los Angeles and continued his music career there. 2013 saw continued support for Chad's debut album with the release of a composite-heavy green screen music video for "Supernatural" as well as live shows in California. An LA-themed music video was released for "Love Crush" and Chad made an appearance as himself to perform the song in the mystery-thriller film Triple Crossed.
On October 19, 2013, Chad released a new single called "Messages and Heartbeats" on the website Bandcamp. In November, the single was given a full release on all digital outlets and on April 5, 2014, a music video for the track was released. The "Messages and Heartbeats" music video was filmed at Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, where James Dean filmed scenes for Rebel Without a Cause in 1955.
The Dark EP was released on March 1, 2016 and consisted of 4 new songs and 2 new versions of previously released songs. The first music video, for title song "Dark", was released February 16, 2016. "Ends of The Earth" was one of the new songs, and it's video followed on May 18, 2016. Another new song "Forever" received a video in January 2017.
In April 2017, a music video for the 2011 song "Liquid Energy" was released, back-to-back with a music video for "The Dreamscape Experiment" in May. Both videos were edited using previously shot footage. This is Chad Siwik, a playlist of standout songs, was published on Spotify, YouTube, and Soundcloud.
