- He suffered a severe foot and ankle sprain in early October 2015. At the hospital he was informed he would have been better off breaking his ankle because a sprain of that nature takes longer to heal than a broken bone.

Phil's final wish was for the roadies to call Mitch from New Orleans. Mitch is an undertaker. He has Phil's body on display for mourners to view in a Jesus Christ like pose. - In late January 2020 he traveled to Ruidoso, New Mexico to film his part in 13: Fanboy. He thought it was a pleasure to work with director Deborah Voorhees.
- In late January 2020 he also traveled to Denver, Colorado to film his part for Compatible. He worked on January 30th and the film wrapped on January 31st. This was his first time working with Director, Gino Alfonso.
- When he lived in Dallas, Texas Suzie Kaye was one of his neighbors. Suzie was in West Side Story and the CBS Soap Opera Love Is a Many Splendored Thing toward the end of its run.
- He's a high school dropout. He dropped out right at the end of his junior year. His guidance counselor suggested he take a correspondence course from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. IU offered this special program at the time. This would allow him to take the required classes for his senior year and to be able to graduate with his class the following year.
- When he was a small child he appeared on a local show in his hometown of Terre Haute, Indiana called Cartoon Theater. The episode aired on October 31, 1963. The show aired on the local CBS station.
- In late June 2020 he traveled to Beaumont, California to film his part in Clown Motel 2 Death Do Us Part. His director was Joseph Kelly and he plays Gus the Clown in the film.

- He's pals with actor Derrik Lewis. They've known each other since 2014. He and Derrik met in an elevator in Los Angeles. They both get a kick out of telling people how they met. Derrik played Lieutenant O'Brien on Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. They both live in Palm Springs. He often stops in at Tropicale in downtown Palm Springs to listen to Derrik play the piano and sing.

- He was a Cub Scout and active in Mini 4-H and the 4-H Club in his hometown of Terre Haute. One year at the Vigo County Fair he was awarded a state fair ribbon for his entry in the photography division which then entered his display into the competition at the Indiana State Fair.
- Sticks and Stones will be his first job as a voice actor in a film. He'll be the voice of "Grandfather" in the film.

- Night of the Tommyknockers is his fourth film collaboration with the Mahal Brothers. He is set to play Dusty in this film. He played Les Pullen in their film Bridge of the Doomed. He was also an Executive Producer on their films Attack of the Unknown and Bloodthirst.
