PETA is prepping for the upcoming Halloween season by releasing a recognizable costume: Pete Davidson.
For those scratching their heads at the new costume, the release follows an expletive-filled voicemail sent by the comedian, 29, to PETA’s vice president of cruelty investigations, Daphna Nachminovitch.
Davidson lashed out at her because she, on behalf of PETA, criticized him for buying a new dog from a pet store instead of adopting one following the death of his family’s pooch, Henry.

Pete Davidson, 29, has checked into rehab but is expected to be released soon.
He is reportedly being treated at a medical facility in Pennsylvania and getting support from his friends and family.
The former Saturday Night Live comedian has previously been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, Crohn’s disease and post-traumatic stress disorder (Ptsd). Davidson lost his father, who was a firefighter, during the September 11 terrorist attacks.
This isn’t the first time the King of Staten Island actor has sought help. Last summer, he had to seek trauma therapy after Kanye West’s online harassment triggered him. Later that year in November, he also had to step back from filming after suffering a meltdown in his trailer.
In a 2018 interview with Variety, Davidson shared that he’s “been in and out of mental health facilities since I was 9.”

Pete Davidson slammed PETA after they criticized him for choosing to buy a new dog at a New York-based pet store instead of adopting one.
Not one to hold his tongue, after seeing the headlines, Davidson decided to call PETA’s Senior VP of Cruelty Investigations, Daphna Nachminovitch, himself and leave an expletive-filled voicemail.
After introducing himself, he said in the message, published by TMZ: “I just wanna let you know I’m severely allergic to dogs, so I have to get a specific breed.
“I’m only not allergic to cavapoos and those type of dogs.”

PETA looked around at all of the potential animal rights violations they could allocate resources toward combatting and decided that their most pressing enemy was former Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson. In an interview with TMZ, PETA’s Senior VP of Cruelty Investigations, Daphna Nachminovitch, described his decision to purchase a cavapoo puppy from a store instead of adopting as “tragic.” This, along with the leaked photos of himself at the pet shop with his girlfriend, fired Davidson up.
“Hi, my name is Pete Davidson, this message is for Daphna.

From executive producer Anjelica Huston, the new documentary Breaking the Chain introduces viewers to a nationwide crisis of abused and neglected dogs, cats, and other animals through interviews and behind-the-scenes footage following PETA's dedicated team of fieldworkers, who live in hope as they respond to cases and calls for help around the clock and in all weather extremes.
The film tells the animals’ stories, including those living in underserved areas of the South, and highlights efforts to improve and save their lives or, when needed, alleviate their suffering.
“It’s one thing to hear about the animal neglect and overpopulation crisis and another to see for yourself how dogs are left to shiver, pant, limp, and suffer in backyards, where they’re confined to wire cages or chained to pieces of junk,” says Huston. “This is what PETA fieldworkers see every day, and I want everyone else to see it,...

There were so many reasons why Friends is, without a doubt, one of the greatest TV shows of all time. The comedy had multiple generations laughing — but, the often overlooked aspect of the show (and any sitcom, really) is how it could also be educational! The taught us plenty of life lessons — to always appreciate your friends, never give up on your dreams, and always, always make sure both you and your partner knows what it means to be “on a break,” etc. But one of the oft-forgotten lessons from the beloved series came in Season 3: “The One With a Chick and a Duck.” For those of you who may not have caught up on the episode since it originally aired in 1997 (which, I should add, is crazy… You do know all 10 seasons are on Netflix, right?!), allow me to refresh your memory on the Chick and the Duck...
