Jenna Bainbridge is a NYC based actor and disability rights advocate. She is best known for her work in Regional and Off-Broadway theatre. She is also the Co-Founder of ConsultAbility, a consulting company that works with theatre companies to make their spaces more accessible for disabled artists, employees, and audiences through disability-inclusion training and accessibility plans to make theatre spaces more accessible.
Jenna sustained a spinal cord injury at 16 months of age and has been partially paralyzed from the waist down ever since. She is an ambulatory wheelchair user, so she is able to walk (with a noticeable limp), but frequently utilizes a wheelchair, crutches, or a cane as-needed.
