Pauric Brennan is a film director based in Laois. His latest feature Film Am Fear Liath was released in 2024 and has won 2 Best Feature awards and was nominated for a third. It has been released on VOD worldwide including Prime Video and Tubi TV. His first feature documentary, The Crafty Irish, was completed during the pandemic and he also directed his first narrative feature in 2020, Don't Sell Me a Dog. Both are currently available on several VOD platforms.
Pauric has written and directed several short films that were featured in festivals around the world. His sci-fi short, The Rosen Bridge, played at the 40th Boston Sci-fi Festival and was a runner-up in the Borgus Films Hitchcock Competition. He has been commissioned to direct several videos for writers, including poet Derek Coyle's collaboration with composer Grainne Mulvey for his poem The Shoulder from the collection 'Reading John Ashbury in Costa Coffee Carlow'. He also co-wrote Ferdia MacAnna's feature, 'All About Eva'.
