The past three seasons of Miami-filmed "Basketball Wives" have been filled with physical drama. NBA players' former lovers, ex-wives, baby mamas, and fiancés -- rarely any actual wives -- have repeatedly come to blows on the Vh1 reality series. It's why audiences keep tuning in -- over 4 million viewers watched the season three reunion.
In one episode, Evelyn Lozada (current fiancé of Chad Ochocinco and former fiancé of Antonie Walker) and Royce Reed (baby mama of Dwight Howard) threw cocktails in each other's faces. In another, Tami Roman (ex-wife of Kenny Anderson) popped Meeka Claxton (wife of Speedy) in the face.
Season four of "Basketball Wives", which premieres February 2012, is likely to have even more violence and drama. One of two new cast members is Kenya Bell, a former Miss Michigan who was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. Last May, she reportedly stabbed her then-husband Charlie Bell...

Basketball Wives Adds Two Cast Members for Season 4
It's been a busy off-season for VH1's Basketball Wives, filled with rumors about which ladies would be staying on for season four and just what direction the show would be taking. After dumping one season wonder Meeka Claxton and retaining the services of Royce Reed, Basketball Wives has filled out its roster by not one but two spots.
TMZ is reporting that the new wives we'll be seeing are Kenya Bell and Kesha Nichols, two women apparently on opposite sides of the reality personality spectrum. Bell, married to veteran point guard Charlie Bell, is said to be the villain, having already stirred things up with multiple cast members. Nichols, on the other hand, has been well-liked, so don't expect to see Richard Jefferson's former fiancee with her claws out anytime soon.

One week ago, the VH1 Blog reported that Royce Reed wouldn't be returning for the fourth season of Basketball Wives. Citing "artistic differences", it looked like the original cast member, whose screen time had greatly diminished in season three, would be following Meeka Claxton out the front door.
What a difference a week makes.
According to VH1 Blog, Reed has decided to return to the show for its upcoming season following several conversations and an outpouring of fan support. She mentions that we'll be seeing "a different side" of her in season four, which may be an indication that the show's proposed image change may have stuck.
I, for one, am glad to see that Royce changed her mind because she's arguably the most important cast member on the show. She keeps Evelyn and Jennifer on the defensive, doesn't kowtow to Shaunie, calls Suzie on her mess, and has a...

The VH1 Blog is reporting that Royce Reed, cast member of Basketball Wives: The Secret Circle, has decided not to return to the hit reality series for season 4. There had been speculation as to whether the former NBA dancer would sign on for another season, considering her limited screen time in season 3 and the fact that she's only on good terms with Tami; Royce cites "artistic differences" as the reason for her departure.. Meeka Claxton joined the show last season, but executive producer Shaunie O'Neal has made mention several times that she wouldn't be returning, due to a pending lawsuit against another cast member.
I have to say, if Royce is out, I might be, too. Royce is the only member of the cast that stands up to Evelyn and Jennifer and she provides a sense of balance to the show. Without her, I fear that it'll become The Evelyn Show,...

It was a scary weekend for Royce Reed, as the Basketball Wives star suffered a seizure at a charity softball game in Wilmington, Delaware. TMZ is reporting that she pulled a hamstring, and when she sat down to ice it, she passed out on the spot. Royce had no idea what had happened after regaining consciousness, and claimed it was the first time she’d ever had such an experience. EMTs were called, but she said she was feeling fine and didn’t need to go to a hospital. What a trooper! Let’s hope she got the Mvp award.
She blamed the incident on the usual culprits for celebrity health woes: stress, exhaustion, heat and her diet. Luckily she seems to be pulling through like a champ. The very next day she tweeted a message to let her fans know that she was still truckin’ (and partyin’): I’m fine yall!

Jennifer tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Royce broke the girlfriends code of conduct by contacting Jennifer’s ex! Was this wrong of Royce to do?
Basketball Wives star Jennifer Williams can’t believe that her co-star Royce Reed had the nerve to send Twitter messages to her soon-to-be ex-husband Eric Williams. That’s why during the June 13 episode, the girls had a sit-down to hash out their differences and Royce just didn’t understand that what she did was wrong. Jennifer tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Royce broke the girlfriends’ code and that’s why Evelyn Lozada had to defend poor Jennifer’s honor leading to the explosive battle.
“What happened was Royce and Eric, my soon-to-be ex — have been tweeting back and forth, so basically I was just confronting her,” Jennifer explains. “But Royce is very immature so she wasn’t quite getting what I was saying.”

Dwight Howard won a $500,000 judgment against his baby mama in the state of Florida for talking smack about him -- but she hasn't paid up, so he's going after her in California. Howard won the judgment against Royce Reed for half a mil last year because she violated a court order, prohibiting her from talking about him in the press. Howard claims Reed now owes him $551,606.74 -- which includes interest. So Howard has filed papers with a California court,...

Dwight Howard -- My Baby Mama Owes Me $500 Million
NBA star Dwight Howard claims he's sick of his baby mama bashing him to the media -- a violation of their court settlement -- and now dude wants at least $500,500,000 to make things right.
TMZ has obtained legal docs filed by the Orlando Magic star in Orange County, Florida, in which he claims his baby mama Royce Reed -- who stars on VH1's "Basketball Wives" -- leaked dirt about him to the media at least 11 times ... thus violating a 2009 gag order.
In the docs, Howard explains that if the leaked stories reached 1,000,000 people -- a safe estimate given that the stories were posted all over the Internet -- the damages should add up to $500,500,000 based on the terms of their previous agreement.
