Jag Bains won his third comp and third Veto of “Big Brother 25” this week — and it wasn’t just any old Veto. It was Otev. And with it, he joins the esteemed list of Otev champs. But will he defy the Otev curse and become only the second Otev winner after Cody Calafiore to go on to win the game?
Before Cody, no one had ever won both in the same season. Since Otev made its debut in Season 7 in 2006, it’s been in every installment except Season 10. Here are all the Otev champs:
Season 7: Janelle Pierzina
Season 8: Eric Stein
Season 9: Ryan Quicksall
Season 11: Jeff Schroeder
Season 12: Enzo Palumbo
Season 13: Adam Poch

We’re only two episodes into “Big Brother” Season 24 and already the “bullsh*t” is flying.
To recap, Daniel Durston became the summer’s first Head of Household during Wednesday’s season premiere. The Elvis impersonator then had to nominate two people for eviction in the second episode, and he chose Michael Bruner and Terrance Higgins. The reason Daniel gave for putting them on the block was that they “have not spoken enough or much game at all with me.” Of course, the audience knows that’s not true. Michael had a one-on-one with the Hoh where he promised him safety in the future if Daniel kept him safe this week. In the diary room, Michael called out Daniel’s lies.

“So I think Daniel’s explanation for putting me up is ‘bullsh*t,’ quite frankly,” an irate Michael told the camera.

Every summer in the “Big Brother” house, some of the contestants are punished and forced to eat a food substance called slop. Longtime viewers have been accustomed to the slop diet since it made its bold debut in the first “All-Stars” version in 2006. Prior to that, the go-to food for houseguests was the much more edible (and less mysterious) peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. So, what are slop’s ingredients and rules, and what does it taste like? Read on for all the slop-tastic answers, if you dare.
What is the slop recipe?
Remember in “The Matrix” when people in the real world would eat gross-looking gruel because it contained all the vitamins, nutrients and minerals that a human requires to survive? Well, think of “Bb” slop as the reality TV version of that. All of the daily necessities are included so as not to leave the contestants malnourished. In...

‘Big Brother 24’ episode 2 recap: Who did Daniel Durston nominate for eviction? [Updating Live Blog]
Heading into Sunday’s second episode of “Big Brother,” Daniel Durston had just won the Head of Household key, but he wasn’t the only person with power. Because of a new Backstage Boss twist, Joe “Pooch” Pucciarelli was given safety for the week and he also got to put three players’ games “in jeopardy.” The people he chose were Paloma Aguilar, Alyssa Snider and Brittany Hoopes, which meant they couldn’t be nominated this week, but that they still could end up going home on Thursday night. So which two houseguests did Daniel nominate for eviction?

During the Season 24 premiere of “Big Brother” on July 6, host Julie Chen Moonves welcomed 16 new houseguests to a summer chock-full of physical, mental and social challenges. At the start of the show, Julie promised a “big twist” and she did not disappoint. To recap, once all of the players had made their way to the backyard and took their random places within the “BBFest” they competed in challenges to determine the first Head of Household of the season.
So what was the “Big Brother 24” twist? Julie revealed to the players at the end of the 90-minute episode that since Joe “Pooch” Pucciarelli chose the “Backstage Boss” ticket, that essentially gave him safety for the rest of the week and he was not able to be nominated for eviction. However, Pooch was also given the task of putting three houseguests’ games “in jeopardy.” Based on what little info he knew about them,...

Summer can officially begin now that “Big Brother” is back on our TV screens. Everyone’s favorite guilty pleasure returns to CBS with all new houseguests battling for a 750,000 prize. The theme is Bb Motel and the house will be inspired by a mid-century Palm Springs look. There will be a twist that, according CBS, will send houseguests “scrambling” and America will be able vote to “impact the game” on premiere night.
Host Julie Chen Moonves has also teased to Us Weekly that the “first live eviction night is going to be unlike any eviction night we’ve ever had because it may not be one of the people that you think that ends up getting bounced that night. These houseguests aren’t going to learn of this new twisted twist until that night.” So how did the 90-minute premiere play out on Wednesday night?
