- Jeanne Joe Perrone, the daughter of two Orange County Transit bus drivers, earned an MFA from The Actors Studio Drama School and works in both theater and film. She often portrays characters that have a dark streak, scrappy vulnerability and a sense of humor.
"Love Me Tender," Jeanne Joe's film debut, showcased in 23 film festivals internationally and won Best Picture at Mile High Film Festival in Denver, CO, also making its way to the Sexy International Film Festival in Melbourne, Australia. At Dance New Amsterdam Theater in New York City, Jeanne Joe originated the role of Margaret in Christina Cigala's original play "Oink!", a role which was written for her. Jeanne Joe debuted as a Shakespearean actor at The Theater at Monmouth, the Official Shakespeare Theater of Maine's 2011 summer season, playing Cordelia in "King Lear," Margaret in "Much Ado About Nothing," and the slapstick comedy role of Edith in "Blythe Spirit."
