Actress Kate Hudson is making a foray into music with her upcoming debut album, Glorious, set to arrive on May 17th. While promoting the effort, she performed a cover of the Stone Temple Pilots classic “Vasoline” and other songs on The Howard Stern Show.
Hudson’s not a stranger to the music world, having starred in Almost Famous back in 2000 and having been married to Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson and engaged to Muse frontman Matt Bellamy. NBCUniversal’s Emmy FYC House is set to return for its third annual pop-up activation at The Aster in Los Angeles from May 16 through May 22.
Additionally, on Wednesday night, Peacock will host their official FYC event for “The Traitors,” a reality show where contestants move into a castle and compete on challenges to earn money for a prize pot. The event will take place at the Ebell in Los Angeles. The panelist list includes host/producer Alan Cumming, as well as exec producer Toni Ireland and Sam Spector, the wardrobe stylist.
At the Aster, the NBCU FYC Emmy showcase features brands including Peacock, NBC, Bravo and Universal Studio Group. The event aims to highlight creatives from their Emmy-eligible shows.
