So much for the White House gate crashers: Bravo confirms that it has pulled the plug on "The Real Housewives of D.C." The series, which featured infamous crasher Michaele Salahi, as well as Mary Schmidt Amons, Lynda Erkiletian, Stacie Turner and Catherine Ommanney, had a promising first season last year. It averaged 1.1 million total viewers to become the second-highest rated first season in the "Real Housewives" franchise. The show might have fallen victim to competition from its counterparts in other cities -- with six other "Housewives" series, including the recently launched...

"The Real Housewives of D.C." is not over just yet. Despite claim that the show did not do well, Bravo has not canceled it as reported by Radar Online. A representative for the network says to Access Hollywood that "no decision has been made yet" regarding the future of the reality series.
The denial is released by the rep following Radar's report that Bravo will not renew "Real Housewives of D.C." after one low-rated season. "The show just didn't do well and it wasn't worth airing another season," a source close to the situation tells the site.
"The DC housewives were meant to be starting shooting their second season now and they haven't heard a peep from Bravo," the source adds. "No one from the cast has been contacted yet and told that the show is canceled."

Oh. My. God.
Never in my entire life have I laughed so damn hard to the point that I turned pink. I’m dark, brown skinned and I still managed to come out looking pink while watching this reunion. Has there ever been anyone as delusional as Michaele and Tareq Salahi? These two make NY Housewife Kelly Killoren Bensimon and ex-New Jersey Housewife Danielle Staub look sane. Sane, people! That is a bigger feat than climbing Mt. Everest in nothing but a speedo/thong without freezing your ass off!
The second part of the Real Housewives of D.C. reunion amped up the asinine display that is The Salahis, whose antics during and off season dominated the hour and raised the ire of the other Housewives, the Husbands, and even Andy Cohen himself to a whole new level. I’m still over here giggling…
The word of the night? Deny.

Man, after seeing tonight’s Real Housewives of D.C., I have officially dubbed the Salahis’ as being capable of anything, and that’s not in a flattering manner. Also, Cat goes bananas with her scolding behavior, Mary defends herself on something she had no clue about, and Stacie fills her friends in on her search for her father. Lynda? Well, she took a page from Caroline’s book and managed to stay out of much drama tonight. That doesn’t mean that her name didn’t pop up in said drama, though…
Random Moving Talk
Lynda’s time this week was cut down to her discussing with Ebong and her kids about finding and moving into a new house for her kids, two of which are grown, but come to stay time to time. Her sixteen year old looks like he could pass for twenty, though. Just saying.

Has anyone been able to figure out yet what is up with Michaele and Tareq Salahi? We all know about the White House party-crashing, their problems with The View and a host of other controversies. And then last night… We learned on The Real Housewives of Washington, D.C. that they allegedly weaseled their way into the Congressional Black Caucus dinner. "There's no level of embarrassment that they will not stoop to," fellow Housewife Stacie Scott Turner told me earlier today. "I just don't get it." Last night's episode also featured a trip to the Salahis' winery, where Stacie, Michaele and Mary Schmidt Amons did their best I Love Lucy and climbed into a barrel to...

I seriously feel bad for those who jumped ship and tuned out of The Real Housewives of D.C., because each week gets better and better, in my opinion. Tonight proved to be just as good with the Salahis’ starting trouble when they aren’t even in the states. Meanwhile, Mary uncovers some unsavory information about one housewife, while Cat deals with the pressures of a deadline in the most fairy-tale way possible.
Mary and the Mystery of the Salahis’
While watching a faux-runway show in a clothing store, Mary and Lynda discuss the tiff that occurred at Paul Wharton’s birthday party between Michaele and Lynda, who thought it was in bad taste for Michaele to come at her in the manner she did. Lynda goes to explain that she is actually worried about Michaele, while at the same time we come to understand that Lynda’s problem is really with Tareq,...

The Real Housewives of D.C. has already been on America’s radars since November of 2009, when one of the housewives, Michaele Sahali, breached White House security along with her husband and went from Bravo reality stars to headline news. Now, the show is upon us. Let’s meet the cast: Stacie Scott Turner: A lovely African-American real estate agent with a hot husband and adorable children. Stacie is what we would call the “normal” one of the group. Lynda Erkiletian: The local Milf. Lynda is a divorced mother of grown children, whose boyfriend is an 8 foot tall suit model named Ebong who is definitely giving her her groove back. Catherine Ommanney: Catherine Ommanney’s last name is hilarious because she has an extremely deep voice. She is British, married to the most connected man on the show, and may or may not hate black people. Time will tell.
