Now Deadline reports that Davis has landed a role in the horror film Please Don’t Feed the Children, which will serve as the feature directorial debut of Destry Allyn Spielberg – a daughter of Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw.

Following in the wake of her brother Sawyer Spielberg starring in the Bloody Disgusting x Dark Star Pictures horror movie Honeydew, Destry Allyn Spielberg – the daughter of Steven Spielberg – will make her feature directorial debut with Please Don’t Feed the Children, which already has Michelle Dockery (“Downton Abbey”) attached to star.
Deadline reports today that Vernon Davis (Gasoline Alley) will also star in the horror film.
“I’ve been very fortunate to work with some incredible people early in my acting career, and this is no different,” said Davis. “I’m beyond excited to be part of Destry’s directorial debut, as well as the opportunity to share the screen with such a talented and inspirational cast.”
The cast also includes Zoe Colletti, Regan Aliyah and Andrew Liner.

Exclusive: Former NFL star Vernon Davis has joined the cast of Destry Allyn Spielberg’s feature debut Please Don’t Feed the Children.

With the fall film festivals looming, SAG-AFTRA on Thursday assured its members who are part of projects that received interim agreements from the guild that it’s Ok for them to support and promote their projects there.
The union’s interim agreement binds producer to whatever terms and conditions eventually are reached with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. The guild has been on strike since July 14.
“Supporting productions covered by a SAG-AFTRA Interim Agreement shows strong solidarity with the union, and we encourage those members working under those agreements to celebrate and fully promote their projects,” the guild said today. “SAG-AFTRA members should feel comfortable auditioning for projects approved under an Interim Agreement.”
