- Malene first got into acting at the age of 9, when she played the part of a farm girl in the bronze age in a low budget movie. She didn't really consider it a big deal and didn't really care for acting, till they did a play at school at the age of 14. She got a lot of praise for her performance as a young German girl, struggling to survive during WW2. This opened her eyes for drama. Over the next couple of years, she then starred in various amateur productions, playing very different parts like a suicidal drug addict, a retard, a princess in the musical "Atlantis" and "Ofelia" in Hamlet. She was first introduced to the real tv and movie industry in 2008, when she landed a small part in the Danish tv series Livvagterne (2008). Since then she has had other smaller parts in various tv series and movies.
