Heidi Michelle Thomas

Heidi Michelle Thomas was born the 5th of May, 1975 in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. She is the daughter of Joan and Terry Thomas and has a younger brother, Dylan. She is a devout Vegan, cyclist and women's and animal rights activist.
She honed her talents at Red Deer College's Bachelor of Applied Arts in Film, Theatre, and Live Entertainment program; and in Greater Toronto at Sheridan's Honours Bachelor of Musical Theatre Performance program. Heidi followed her passion for music and went on to front bands throughout North America, Asia, Bermuda, Europe, India, and the Middle East. She was also a Featured Vocalist on several Cruise Ships. She has opened for the legendary Canadian bands Trooper, and Glass Tiger. Heidi was invited on a United Nations peacekeeping troupe tour; appearing in a tribute to Madonna and Marilyn Monroe.
Heidi landed her first feature film role in Strange and Rich (1994), A student's death and a killer's arrival unite a sergeant Shaun Johnston and the new police chief Ron White in a small prairie town. Co-starring opposite Nathan Fillion. She followed it up with the films The True Meaning of Girls (1994), a teenage coming of age film. Seg/me/nts (2006), a feature anthology consisting of three interconnected shorter films; following the adventures of a cat burglar obsessed with breaking into homes - just to watch people sleep. And Armored Fury (1998), A rogue group of armored mercenaries struggle for survival when they are double-crossed on a desolate, radioactive planet.
Heidi released her first album in 1999 entitled Goddess & Creamcheese, followed by a music video for the single U Grab Me a Colour. She appeared on Edmonton's Breakfast Television, as well as local Radio Programs, and Stages promoting and touring the Album.

War Games (2023), About the 1914 soccer game when the English played the Germans in No Mans Land on Christmas Day. In this fable the game was brokered by Santa Claus and The Krampus; who are confronted by Mrs. Claus, and Frau Perchta (the Germanic Christmas Witch). The Warbling (2023), A young girl falls prey to a strange monster with an enchanting voice. You Can't Teach Love (2023), When publicist, Elizabeth struggles to find work/life balance, her newest client Paloma (a well-known, European haute couture jewelry designer), is hard to please. Grief (2024), Jackie tries to console her distraught sister who is hiding something.
She received critical reviews and acclaim for her Stage portrayals in Toronto of Rose in the Musical Gypsy (2010), Paulette in Legally Blonde (2012), Velma Vontussle in Hairspray (2015), The Narrator in The Rocky Horror Show (2019), and The Genie in Aladdin (2023). Heidi collaborated on the original musical Kinky Kabaret (2011) and launched a well-received one-woman show called FIRED! (2013). Heidi presently lives and works in Toronto. She Hosts a weekly Cabaret called C.U.Next Tuesday in the historic Gay Village at O'Grady's on Church.
