Mohammad grew up in the suburbs of Kuwait City where both of his
parents were schoolteachers. His family and he moved to State College,
PA, where they lived for four years. After watching Fritz Lang's
Metropolis, he discovered an unusual attraction to the power of film .
Before he discovered storytelling by using the medium of film, he used
a combination of puppets, action figures, and his sister's dolls to
create a world where magical creatures existed. His first short film
was a stop motion animation titled; Life is Not Fair. He currently
lives in Dallas working as an independent filmmaker, screenwriter, and
a senior at the University of North Texas where he is majoring in
Radio, Television, and Film. It took three years to produce, write, and
direct his short independent film Broken Seconds. The 28 minute film is
a combination of four stories and seven characters. The film was
produced using a mixture of family finances and selling his 2002
Mitsubishi Gallant to meet the budget. He is currently writing a
feature length film, and working on various student film projects.
