Apple TV+ has announced that they will be releasing the four-part documentary The Enfield Poltergeist – which tells about the case that served as inspiration for The Conjuring 2 – on October 27th, just in time for Halloween viewings. Along with that announcement comes the unveiling of a trailer for the docu-series, and you can check it out in the embed above.
According to Deadline, The Enfield Poltergeist relies on more than 250 hours of audio archive to help recreate the infamous events in Enfield. Throughout four episodes, the events at Enfield are reconstructed using the recordings captured by Maurice Grosse, a paranormal investigator who archived all of his interviews from back in the day. The doc built a replica of the council house where the incidents took place so performers could reenact what is heard on the tapes.
The docu-series also features appearances by people who were actually involved in the haunting case.

It’s easy to forget that members of the British royal family are ordinary people behind their privileged facade. King Charles and Queen Camilla are both monarchs and iconic figureheads of the country, but behind the scenes, they are also apparently very loving parents and grandparents. Notably, Camilla, who hasn’t always been the public’s most beloved member of the royal family, is a dedicated grandmother, with her former daughter-in-law recently gushing publicly about what a “hands-on” granny she is.

Camilla has been with Charles for decades, and after their 2005 wedding, many members of the British public started to accept the fact that she would be their new queen. Things became official in May 2023, when Charles officially had his coronation ceremony — and Camilla was at his side. In the months since, Camilla has been busier than ever,...

You have to give Adam Sandler props for being a very good family man. When he wants to spend time with his wife and children, he doesn’t just take them on vacation, he makes movies with them. And sometimes both at the same time. He’s outdone himself with his latest effort for Netflix, Sammi Cohen’s You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, based on Fiona Rosenbloom’s 2005 YA novel and featuring his daughter Sunny Sandler in the lead role, along with her older sister Sadie Sandler, her mother Jackie Sandler and her father Adam in supporting turns. It seems less a movie than a family project.
Fortunately, the rampant nepotism on display has resulted in a sweet, amusing film geared toward younger audiences, who will best relate to the main character’s personal travails as she prepares for the film’s main event. (And as they say,...

Adam Sandler's latest Netflix comedy is a family affair. While fans of the comedian are familiar with his wife, Jackie Sandler, appearing in many of his movies in small roles, when it comes to the upcoming "You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah," it's his daughters, Sunny and Sadie, who take center stage.
The new movie follows lifelong best friends Stacy (Sunny) and Lydia (Samantha Lorraine), two 12-year-olds determined to throw the best bat mitzvahs to ensure their adult lives start with a bang. But when a popular boy, Andy Goldfarb (Dylan Hoffman), comes between them, can their friendship and carefully laid party plans survive Hebrew school drama? Fans of Adam will get to see the comedian play his real-life daughters' dad in the movie and likely offer tons of humorous - yet sage - fatherly advice as all the teenage chaos and drama ensues around him.

Movies or life stories that are transformed into Broadway musicals always take a degree of liberties with their source material. Sometimes they’re egregious (Hey, Cher musical people, Gregg Allman didn’t sing “Ramblin’ Man” — Dickey Betts did!); other times they may be an improvement. The latter is sometimes the case in Back to the Future: The Musical, which opened last week and time-travels the 1985 blockbuster starring Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly onto the 2023 Broadway stage. Beloved artifacts like Marty’s down vest, Doc Brown’s souped-up DeLorean, and...

Lena Dunham has said that she’s “not in a feud with anyone” as she shut down rumours of animosity between her and Melissa Joan Hart.
Last week, anonymous gossip Instagram DeuxMoi posted a tip claiming that Sabrina the Teenage Witch star Hart “has it out” for Dunham.
A second tip alleged that Anjelica Houston, who has previously worked with Hart, had also said “some very nasty things” about the Girls creator.
Hart addressed the reported “rivalry” on Instagram by reposting DeuxMoi’s posts, writing: “We have no ‘beef’, and as far as I remember we haven’t even had the pleasure of meeting… â.â.Please be careful not to get caught up in the hateful rhetoric of these sites that promote division and spew crap to make a profit.”

Lorraine took a poll on whether viewers believed that Matt Hancock’s appearance on I’m a Celeb is helping or harming his reputation.
The former health secretary entered the jungle alongside comedian Seann Walsh on Wednesday (9 Novermber).
While the two newcomers have grown close in that time, Hancock’s arrival ruffled feathers among other campmates. Boy George was in tears over the politician joining.
A total of 545 people, the results of which were shared on the official Twitter account for Lorraine, voted on whether they believed Hancock was successfully rehabilitating his image by being on the programme.
People were asked: “Do you think being in the I’m a Celeb jungle is helping Matt Hancock’s reputation?”
Under half – 42.8 per cent – of the respondents said yes, with the remaining 57.2 per cent answering no.

Boy George’s friend, DJ Fat Tony, has said the musician’s reaction to Matt Hancock entering the jungle was genuine.
On Wednesday night (9 November), Hancock joined the jungle with comedian Seann Walsh, to the shock of their fellow contestants.
On screen, Boy George was upset by the revelation:“You know, beginning of the pandemic my mum was in hospital. I wasn’t allowed to see her. I thought she was going to die,” he told presenter Scarlette Douglas.
“I was tweeting Greenwich hospital going, ‘Please look after my mum.’ I used my name, I was like, ‘Please look after my mum.’ And they did, she was fine… I feel like, I don’t want to be sitting here like I’m having fun with him.”

When looking back at the most influential action movies of the 21st century, it's impossible to not mention the "Kill Bill" films. Quentin Tarantino delivered a mesmerizing spectacle that paid tribute to classics within the genre. There aren't many characters in the past few decades as iconic as The Bride (Uma Thurman). It's unlikely that we would be seeing as many great female-centric action films today if it wasn't for Thurman's performance.
Although it was released in two chapters, a synthesized version of the story titled "Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair" has been seen by some lucky Tarantino fans. While the film's story was seemingly completed, Tarantino has teased the possibility of developing a third installment. Tarantino has often hinted at potential projects that he never ended up developing, but the possibility of "Kill Bill: Vol. 3" is pretty exciting. Here are 15 movies like "Kill Bill" that you need to see.

One of my greatest accomplishments to date is the fact that aged eleven I was interviewed by Britain’s longest-serving TV breakfast host and queen of morning TV Lorraine Kelly! This was one of the greatest experiences as me and my family were whisked up from our humble home in Cardiff, put on a train (which even then was an extravagant cost) and put into the penthouse suite of the extremely ostentatious Park Plaza Hotel in the heart of central London to talk to Lorraine about the positive effects that Slimming World had had on me. The entire episode was dedicated to debating whether or not young children should be able to join slimming programmes such as Slimming World and I was the ambassador for such groups and the idea of healthy swaps rather than dieting! This was such a surreal experience for my younger self as I was able...

We all know the rules: don't get them wet, keep them out of sunlight, and whatever you do never, ever, feed them after midnight. That's the easy part, although you wouldn't be able to tell by watching Joe Dante's two excellent and much-loved monster movies "Gremlins" and its arguably better meta-sequel, "Gremlins 2: The New Batch." Despite the deceptively simple nature of these three all-important laws, owning a Mogwai is apparently much harder than it looks. In both instances, utter mayhem is very quickly unleashed when a gaggle of chaotic green gremlins land on the scene and unleash all hell onto anyone unfortunate enough to find themselves in their war path. Played like a straight-faced family frightener, Dante's 1984 original introduces us to Billy (Zach Galligan) and his Mogwai pal Gizmo. Together with Billy's girlfriend Kate (Phoebe Cates), they must try their best to stop their small town from being...
