Claude Green was born on January 14, 1950 in the United Kingdom. He
graduated with an economics degree from King's College, Cambridge. In
his early twenties he spent much of his free time wandering the streets
of London with his 8mm camera.
But making films was only a hobby at the time and he was soon clocking
up stints at the National Coal Board, Glaxo and Reuters. After 25 years
of working in the on-line information business he found himself as CEO
of a Reuters-Dow Jones joint venture called Factiva.
Aged 57, he quit the corporate world and enrolled in film school. Since
then he has been writing, directing and producing films that include
feature documentaries and narrative shorts ranging from educational to
fun upbeat stories about life's interesting oddities.
He is married to his long time companion, Anne and has two children,
Daniel and Adrienne
He is a lifelong Manchester United fan and will tell anyone who's interested how he was present at the Nou Camp when they became the first English football club to clinch the treble.
