Born and raised in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico, Mrs. Mullen-Pacheco attended Georgetown University where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology and International Affairs, studied law at the University of Puerto Rico and completed her Masters in Business Administration at the University of Miami. In 2018, she completed the MPXA, a Master's Program in Executive Production by the University of A Coruña, the Amancio Ortega Foundation and the Santiago Rey Fernández-Latorre Foundation. A lawyer by profession, and a producer by vocation; since 2009, she has produced fiction and documentary films in Puerto Rico and internationally. In 2013, she was accepted to the Directors' Guild of America as Unit Production Manager. Under her company, Belle Films (Puerto Rico & Spain), she develops content in an artisanal way by women, about women or for women. She also offers production services as well as consulting services in production, financing and tax incentives participating in films and series and providing services for clients such as Sony Music, The Vessel, In the Blood, Reclaim, Ozuna, Extra Terrestres, ZDF's A Summer in Florida, and Extortion, among others. Her most recent productions include short documentaries such as "Anatomía dunha serea" (Spain, 2022) and "Desempacando" (PR, Dom. Rep., Spain, 2019) (which she also directed); short fiction films such as "O Son da balea" (Spain, 2021); and fiction films such as "El Hombre que Cuida" (PR-Dom. Rep. -Brazil co-production, 2017) and "El Chata (The Sparring Partner)" (Puerto Rico, 2018). In 2017, she won the Movistar+ Development Award at Conecta Fiction, with her comedy series "Love in Times of Tinder". She recently produced: "Erase una vez en el Caribe" (PR, Spain), "Pies en la arena" (PR, DR), "La estrategia del mero" (Colombia, PR, Dom. Rep., Brazil) (2022 Tallin Black Nights FF International WIP Winner), "Todas las flores" (PR, Colombia) and "Voces de Pasión". In 2021, she participated in EAVE Puentes with the feature project "Trenzadas" directed by Raisa Bonnet. When her son allows it, she loves to read and travel.
