Chicago – Time travel “what ifs” and cruise ships has never been so close to our current reality, and it’s present in the unique film “Same Boat,” directed by Chris Roberti and co-written by Roberti with Josh Itzkowitz. The VOD release for the film is Tuesday, April 7th.
The very funny, warm and philosophical film presupposes a future in which time traveler assassins come back to save their world – which has been devastated through bad decisions in the past – by killing the people who will affect that devastation. James and his “intern” Mot (Julie Schonberg) are assigned the hit on Lilly (Tonya Glanz), who is vacationing on a cruise ship, but complications arise when James begins to have feelings for the target. The whip-sharp comedy is full of authentic laughs derived from the plot and situations, plus the always weird vibe of a cruise ship. Roberti and Itzkowitz have fashioned...

New dad Evan Kaufman gave one of the worst clues in “$100,000 Pyramid” history, but the self-deprecating ABC contestant has a good explanation for his Obama-Bin Laden snafu. Or at least, he has an explanation.
First, watch the uncomfortable Sunday night game show moment unfold:

Before you freak, Kaufman wants you to know that he voted for Barack Obama twice and would have a third time if not for that pesky Constitution. Kaufman is a self-proclaimed “Globalist Cuck.”

What a difference a B makes.
A contestant on ABC’s $100,000 Pyramid has come forward to explain how it is that he seemingly mixed up President Barack Obama with not-so-dearly departed terrorist Osama bin Laden, during the bonus round of this week’s episode.
Paired with celeb Tim Meadows in a bid for $50,000, Evan Kaufman was presented with the first category “People Whose Last Name Is Obama.” And after a few seconds of thought, the first clue he offers up is “Bin Laden.” (Which he then followed up with “Barack,” eliciting the proper response from his partner.)
A day later,...

Mistakes happen, but when they are aired on national television, they become a fiasco. This is exactly what happened to Evan Kaufman when he appeared as a contestant on $100,000 Pyramid.
During the final round on the ABC game show, Kaufman was paired with Saturday Night Live alum Tim Meadows. Kaufman was giving clues on a topic for Meadows to guess. When the clue “People Whose Last Name is Obama” popped up, Kaufman first said, “bin Laden”, thinking he saw the word “Osama.”
Whoops.
He corrected himself and said “Barack” and the game went on.
Kaufman took to Twitter with a sense of humor and humility to address the flub. He posted the video of his blunder along with a thread of tweets that walked us through “the most embarrassing moment” in his life.

On Sunday's episode of The $100,000 Pyramid on ABC, a contestant made the mistake of mixing up former al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden with President Barack Obama.
The game show, which pairs a contestant with a celebrity as they offer clues based on a topic for their partner to guess, saw the contestant in question, a new father named Evan Kaufman, paired with Saturday Night Live alum Tim Meadows.
As Kaufman's round began, starting with the easiest topics at the bottom of the pyramid, the hint in the question was "People Whose Last Name Is Obama."...
