- I've always found it more rewarding playing roles that aren't necessarily from my own culture or background - for me that's much more compelling. I've traveled from a young age and love absorbing and learning different languages, dialects and accents. There's no better education or better preparation for this craft.
- I'd love to do some French films. For me French cinema is the most inspiring, the most beautiful. I probably watch more French films and television than anything else. I spent so much time in France growing up I feel like I want to be there more and more.
- Three years of drama school in London was the hardest of my life but the most fun I've ever had. I was lucky to have that opportunity. It was wonderful. I still miss it.
- Acting is psychology is motion. You can't be an actor without wanting to understand someone's psychology, to be inside their mind and to know them, intrinsically.

- I did an Indian film with superstar Prosenjiit Chatterjee and I had to learn part of the script in Bengali. I had this fantastic tutor and it was amazing - I loved every minute of it. It takes you to another place entirely.
