Born on 19 December 1984, Priyanka Dutt hails from one of the most talented and popular film veterans of South Indian Cinema, Aswini Dutt Chalasani. After completing her graduation from UCLA, she assisted Shoojit Sircar before co-producing films under Vyjayanthi Movies. She co-produced movies like Balu(2004) and Jai Chiranjeeva(2005). With her strong belief in the power of nuanced cinema and good storytelling, she diversified and started her own company - Three Angels Studio. Under this new venture, she produced films like Baanam(2009) , Om Shanti(2010) and Sarocharu(2012) . In 2013, she produced a short film Yaadon Ki Baarat which was screened at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. Together with Swapna Dutt, she revived and dedicated another division of Vyjayanthi Movies in making content-driven cinema. Recently, she became known for producing films like Yevade Subramanayam(2014) , a film encapsulating the journey of a man through Himalayas and Mahanati(2018) , an epic tale revolving around the life and times of a female superstar in Indian Cinema, Savitri. Her approach blends depth and unconventionality making the films one-of-a-kind cinematic experiences for the viewers.
