America's Next Top Model 18.06 "Jessica Sutta and Nadine Coyle" Review
Hoochie toochie smoochie bootchie toochie toochie coochie coochie.
Don't worry, everybody, I'm not having a fit or psychotic break from too much Top Model. (That's like saying "too much air", c'mon. No such thing.) I'm just practicing what tooches to do and what tooches not to do, as the Good Lord (and Mama Tyra) intended. You wouldn't want your salad tooch to get mixed up with your dessert tooch and heaven knows, if I mixed up my dinner tooch with my fish tooch, I might not be to show up at the next TV Blogger Luncheon, Fashion Show, and Tooch Off. And we wouldn't want that now, would we?
Y'all, tonight's Top Model was all types of stupid and train wreck-y, but I have to admit...I kind of loved it. I don't know if it's residual good feelings from an improved cycle or what,...

For many of us, we despise when a contestant leaves a reality show of their own accord - mainly because we feel that they took the spot from someone who would have made the most of the competition and really wanted it. But, on the last episode, of "America's Next Top Model," Ondrei gets a pass from us.
She left after the emotions of losing two brothers unexpectedly - one from an accident, the other murdered - were too much to handle and we're surprised she made it as long as she did. Now, the 19-year-old tells us that time has helped and she's doing much better, as well as looking forward to continuing her modeling career.
Zap2it asked the young Atlanta native five questions about her decision to leave and more:
1.) What was your reaction to the drama in the kitchen?I was pretty much thinking for me...

Sexsational: It’s the “werq” of 2011, ladies! And it’s also the word that the judges have used to describe Molly, the first panel winner. Poor Nicole, meanwhile needs to get her youth on; she’s been told by the panel that she photographs 15 years too old. Ouch! But will Tyra pay for her laser peel? [Full recap of Wednesday's (March 2) "America's Next Top Model" after the break...] Oh my God! Ondrei, aka Li’l Oluchi, has a very heartbreaking past: Two of her brothers died under unnatural circumstances. “I know it’s been a couple months or whatever,” Monique meows, “but at the...

Tonight's season premiere of America's Next Top Model opens with a very funny sequence featuring Tyra spoofing various stereotypical contestants (check out the video here), before telling us that she's going to pull an Ashton Kutcher and "punk" this cycle's new batch of hopefuls. The plan is to tell the girls they haven't made it to the next round before revealing that they actually have. "We felt it was time to get real," says Tyra. "The first order of business is rejection." But before that happens, we're introduced to the 14 models who will be battling for the coveted prizes this cycle. They are (in Tyra's words): freckle-faced Dominique, fiercely-real Kasia, petit Ondrei, feisty blonde Alexandria, sexy mama Monique, elegant Nicole, quirky Sara, hippy Hannah, golden-haired Molly, baby-faced Jaclyn, Brittani from the (more)...

Tyra Banks wasted no time in schooling this Cycle's contestants for the harsh world of modeling in the "America's Next Top Model" Cycle 16 premiere.
The "smizing" queen decided to skip the casting special altogether. Why? Because she can. Of course, that was just a show of her power. The show of her crazy really comes in when she decides to not only impersonate Ashton Kutcher (achieved by simply putting a trucker hat on - we must remember that for Halloween) and punking the girls into thinking they didn't make it. We do have to give the TyTy credit for throwing the girls' bags in a pile on the floor. Nice touch.
If you feel that was mean, what about the girls who were initially told they made it only to have Mr. and Miss J. walk them out to the backyard and tell them not to let the gate hit...

I love the smell of an invisible wind machine in the morning.
Top Model is back, you guys! TV just got a little crazier and I could not be happier. The premiere of the 16th cycle of the show was as frenetic and weird as we’ve come to expect, thanks to a few eye opening twists and another Wipeout-esque challenge that wasn’t as inherently dangerous as past debacles.
I felt a little bad about the ultimate fake out Tyra gave the girls in the fast forwarded (for us) “casting special”; I know that the lesson was there (in modeling, you have to get used to rejection), but taking the rug out from the “other” girls was a little mean and seemed to have been done only to produce a raucous reaction from the top 14. In a way, I’m glad that the contestants that got cut weren’t shown finding out the news,...
