Jay Huxley has accused the MasterChef judges of preferring sweet dishes. The 31-year-old car sales manager, who was eliminated from the Australian version of the cooking reality TV show earlier this week, said that Matt Preston, George Calombaris and Gary Mehigan's penchant for sugar affected his chances of winning the competition. Huxley was asked to leave the show after failing to impress the judging panel with his interpretation of a Dan Hong pandan chiffon cake. The 31-year-old car sales manager, who failed to make the top 24 in last year's season of the cooking reality show, entered an elimination challenge after failing to impress the judges with his Spanish churros dish. Huxley went head-to-head with 25-year-old publicist Dani Venn and 21-year-old Queenslander Ellie Paxton-Hall in a dessert challenge designed by celebrity chef Dan Hong.
