Lindsey DiBlasi
- Actress
Lindsey DiBlasi was born in Woodland Hills, California to a very
musical family. Both her father Joe DiBlasi (guitar) and grandfather
Frank Marocco (accordion) have impressive resumes in the music and
movie industries. Lindsey started singing at a very young age doing her
first recording session at 7 years old. She has sang on several tracks
and radio spots. She was always involved in performing arts throughout
high school and college but didn't consider an acting career until a
drama teacher saw a performance of hers and suggested she pursue it
professionally. She attended Baron Brown in Santa Monica and completed
the two year Meisner training program there. She then went on to study
with Joanne Baron in her master's class and was one of 10 actors chosen
by a panel of industry judges to perform a scene on a DVD to be sent
out to industry professionals. She has since studied with Anthony
Meindl and Annie Grindlay. She has been in several short films and has
participated in two 48-hour film projects. "En Passant" in which she
played the lead Laurie has just recently received distribution. As she
pursues a film and television career she also continues to sing in
hopes of reaching the Broadway stage.
