Disney is planning to launch the fully realized, one-app version of Disney+ and Hulu in March, but the beta is available now.
It will be fascinating to see what effects the addition of a Hulu content tile on Disney+ will have on the subscriber numbers for both services. The public will have to wait until the company’s next earnings report to learn that information, but Ampere Analysis is revealing that the combination will have significant implications for the service’s content library.
Ampere’s data shows that Hulu’s and Disney+’s combined content library will have 33 of the top 100 performing subscription video titles in 2023, more than Netflix. The two services combined will offer more than 9,000 titles, though licensing agreements prevent all Hulu titles from streaming on Disney+. Having a stable of in-demand streaming titles will be key as Disney pares back the number of Marvel and Star Wars content it releases.

After less than a year in retirement, Bob Iger has returned as the CEO of the Walt Disney Company.
The company’s board has sent out a notice that Bob I. is back and the recently re-upped Bob Chapek is out. “I am deeply honored to be asked to again lead this remarkable team, with a clear mission focused on creative excellence to inspire generations through unrivaled, bold storytelling,” Iger wrote tonight in an email to staffers.
Having handed over the baton as CEO in February 2020 to Chapek — a stunning move unto itself at the time — and then serving as executive chairman until the end of 2021, Iger will be CEO for a second time for the next two years, the company says. His mission will also include identifying a successor, something Iger had difficulty doing while commanding the troops the last time, postponing multiple plans to step down during his 15 years in the top job,...

Colombo, Sep 14 (Ians) Indian boys’ football team clinched the Saff U-17 Championship title after defeating a 10-man Nepal 4-0 in the final at the Racecourse International Stadium, here on Wednesday.
Boby Singh, Korou Singh, captain Vanlalpeka Guite, and Aman scored a goal each, to shape a resounding victory in India’s favour. With this win, India retained the title, which was previously labelled as the Saff U-15 Championship.
In the group league, Nepal defeated India 3-1. However, in the final, India looked a side eager to take complete charge of the proceedings right from the word go.
They got off the blocks early in the match, looking to find the gaps in the Nepal defence, and managed to get the lead in the 18th minute through Boby, who headed it into the goal at the far post, after a good piece of play between Ricky Meetei and Vanlalpeka Guite, as...

It’s that time of year again. Wrestlemania is soon upon us. This event has become the most important event in professional wrestling, showcasing the best of the best of the sport putting on the show of their lives. With Wrestlemania appearing this Sunday on the WWE Network, I thought I’d take the time to discuss my ten favorite Wrestlemania matches, matches that to me epitomize everything that is great about the event. Like any list, it is purely subjective so if you disagree with anything or feel I left something out, let’s discuss it in the comments below.
Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant- Wrestlemania 3
“The irresistible force meeting the immovable object!”
Without Wrestlemania 3, it’s possible that Wrestlemania could have gone the way of Starrcade. The first two Wrestlemania’s, while star studded and showing some glimpses of what the event eventually became, were more events of their time.
