Born 1973, started to play violin at the age of seven. He finished both primary and high school education in the Music and Ballet High School "Ilija Nikolovski-Luj" Skopje Macedonia in the class of prof. P.Nikolov and R. Dimitriev. Continues the studies in Rotterdam-Netherlands in the class of prof. I. Grubert and Z. Gilels, where he finished the first academic year. During the studies he has won many Awards among which are the: 1st Republic and 2nd Federal Award within former Yugoslavia.
Kondratenko graduated at the UKIM School of Music Skopje, achieving the highest mark of "10 cum laude" in the class of prof. Z. Dimitrovski. He finishes post-graduating studies in the class of prof. P. Matzka (concertmaster of the ORF orchestra in Vienna) and highest soloist level "Konzertexamen" in the class of prof.Martin at Cologne Music Academy working chamber music with "Alban Berg" quartet and Alexander Longuich.
As soloist he performed in the Netherlands, Russia,France, Egypt, Denmark, Croatia,Poland, Germany, Hungary, at the Skopje and Ohrid Summer festivals In Macedonia, including many solo performances with the Macedonian Philharmonics.
At the moment he is professor on "St.Cyril and Methodius" University-Faculty of music, Skopje - Macedonia where in last years his students have won first prices on following competitions: Ohrid Perls Competition (Ohrid, Macedonia); Mursia International Competition(Mursia,Spain) Etudes & Scales (Zagreb, Croatia); International String Competition (Nis, Serbia); Makedonium String Competition (Skopje, Macedonia)
Parallel to his teaching post in last 8 years Kondratenko works as main recording conductor of F.A.M.E.film orchestra under Macedonian Radio Television where he recorded movies scores for more than 300 projects for USA (Hollywood), France, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Venezuela, India (Bollywood), etc. This orchestra took part in movie-projects that won or was nominated for "EMMY"& "GRAMMY" music awards among others. As violin duo with his wife Anna Kondratenko he recorded his latest CD "Navarra" that includes violin duos from Sarasate, Wieniawski, Shostakovich, Moszkovski and others.
