Kyron Griffith
- Actor
Kyron Griffith, best known for his supporting role in "16-Love" as
Milon Christman, is a rising star within the sports film industry. His
start was an ironic and an auspicious one, especially since acting was
never in his plan. He was discovered on YouTube when Adam Lipsius, the
director of the acclaimed "16-Love," was on a late-night YouTube spree.
He stumbled upon Kyron Griffith's high school Student Council
promotional video in which Griffith portrayed the male role in a spin
on Taylor Swift's number-one-hit "You Belong With Me." Griffith's
undeniable latent acting talent had been uncovered. Lipsius was so
desperate to incorporate Griffith that he paid for the young actor to
have 6 months of high-intensity tennis lessons by world renown tennis
coach Patrick Mouratoglou. During breaks, Mouratoglou also taught
Griffith how to play chess. Griffith fell in love with the game so
deeply that he took it up as a real hobby and has entered chess
tournaments ever since.
