Kat has been a driving force for women in the competitive gaming scene
her entire adult life. What started as a shining member of the PMS Clan
quickly turned into a top 12 finish at the 2006 World Cyber Games for
Dead or Alive 4 (DOA4). She was then drafted by the Carolina Core to
play DOA4 for the entire lifespan of the Championship Gaming Series
(CGS). She followed her success during the CGS by being selected to
participate in the second and final WCG Ultimate Gamer TV show. She
would go on to become the first and only female winner of the series,
and the final person to hold the title of Ultimate Gamer.
Kat worked as a lead broadcast analyst for the IGN Pro League, covering
Dead or Alive 5 and Shootmania for the eSports mainstay. Her new
professional team, Less Than 3 (LT3) will continue her long tradition
of propelling women to the forefront of competitive gaming. It will
also help bridge the ever-narrowing gap between gaming and cosplay.
