It's difficult enough to deal with one hoarder, much less two. Bg and Lee were featured on the latest episode of "Hoarders," and their problem was threatening to destroy their marriage. They barely communicated unless it was to snap at one another. Lee was controlling, Bg was frustrated, and while both were hoarders, they couldn't agree on what was valuable and what was worth getting rid of.
One thing they did agree on was that they didn't want the clean-up crew in their house. So about fifteen minutes into the clean-up effort, they locked the front door of their house. They did more to hinder the process for the entire time the team was there to help, leading to frustration for both the therapist, Dr. Robin Zasio, and the professional organizer, Dorothy Breninger.
While they were ultimately able to get one room cleared out, along with the hallway and stairs,...

TV Guide notes that as soon as the audience had a say, they moved to eliminate gay competitors on both The X-Factor and The Voice. I have to admit, I'm not surprised. While I think U.S. viewers will accept an out singer, an out singer will probably get fewer chances to survive in the middle of the pack.
Emily Owens, M.D. is getting hotter with D.B. Woodside signing up for a multi-episode arc.
Comedy Central will continue to hurt comedy with a second season of Brickleberry.
Pretty Little Liars' Janel Parrish is headed to Hawaii Five-0. I hope the costume deparment has a second pair of crazypants ready because any Pll viewer will tell you that Parrish wears crazypants as well as Alex O'Loughlin does.

Things took a very dangerous turn on the latest episode of "Hoarders." Dr. Robin Zasio, one of the show's psychologists, and a clean-up crew were on-hand to help Manuel with the horrific hoard that had already cost him and his wife their grandchildren. The home was filled with fecal matter and roaches amidst the general filth.
The problem was that Manuel and his wife Liz were the regular babysitters for their grandchildren. So when Cps (Child Protective Services) saw the state of the home, they took the children away from both their grandparents and their parents. They had child endangerment charges pending against all of them still by the end of the show.
But it was during the clean-up that Dr. Zasio discovered that it had all gotten to be too much for Liz. "I’ve been wanting to die for years because of all this. I’m tired of it,...

On "Hoarders" (Mon., 9 p.m. Est on A&E) viewers were introduced to Joanne and her young grandson Cayden.
Compulsive hoarder Joanne was Cayden's daytime caregiver, but her home had become so squalid and cramped that it was close to being too dangerous for him to visit any more.
Plus, Joanne's hoarding had also brought her relationship with her son and daughter-in-law to breaking point.
Faced with the threat of not being able to see her grandson any more, Joanne sought help and took steps toward dealing with her issues.
With the help of Dr. Robin Zasio she cleaned up her house. And how! As a delighted Cayden explored the newly immaculate home, Dr. Zasio paid tribute to his grandmother.
"I can't be more pleased with Joanne and how she worked this process," she said. "She was open, she was ready, I think she's going to work to restore her relationship with her son.

Dr. Robin Zasio has dealt with a lot of different people struggling with various mental illnesses during her time on "Hoarders" (Mon., 9 p.m. Est on A&E). But there was something very haunted in Joanne's eyes that gave Dr. Zasio pause in this week's installment. Many hoarders talk extreme measures when faced with the possibility of losing their belongings, but with Joanne it was her calmness that was perhaps the most disconcerting.
Dr. Zasio asked her, "If somebody came in and got rid of all of your stuff today, what would happen to you?"
Joanne's response, given with uncomfortable laughter, was, "I'd end up probably with a nice rope down in the basement." Someone had already killed themselves in that basement, and Joanne had mentioned considering it.
These feelings stemmed largely from an abusive relationship with her husband, who's since passed on. He would bring his mistresses home and...

But they do have to sleep with a rubber snake before kissing a real one. Plenty of people are moved to tears at the sight of an adorable puppy (or maybe we've just seen that Sarah McLachlan Aspca commercial one too many times), but how many grown men have you seen weep in fear at the sight of a baby pitbull?
Sure, fierce, fighting adult pitbulls can be scary -- but this little guy seems too cute to be a killer. However, to tattooed tough-guy Marvin, he's just as frightening as a 250-pound mastiff. Marvin's paralyzing fear of pitbulls causes him to turn to Sacramento psychologist Robin Zasio, star of the new Animal Planet series "My Extreme Animal Phobia."
Though it's not unusual to be scared of snakes, spiders or other slithery creatures, plenty of people have extreme phobias of everyday animals like puppies, moths or grasshoppers, and will be profiled as they seek treatment from Dr. Zasio in the new series.
In the clip below,...
