Supergirl has found its Man of Steel. THR reports that Tyler Hoechlin (Teen Wolf) has been cast as Clark Kent/Superman in the superhero series, which will be moving from CBS to The CW for its second season. Fans won't have to wait long to see his first appearance: he'll make his debut in the season two premiere as he visits his cousin Kara in National City.
"Greg [Berlanti] and I have wanted to work with Tyler for ages, so this worked out perfectly because Tyler is Superman," executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said. "We are so thrilled and humbled to add another amazing actor to the legacy of this iconic character."
That legacy includes actors like George Reeves, Christopher Reeve, Dean Cain, Brandon Routh, Tom Welling, and Henry Cavill, so Hoechlin is in rare company. The actor was one of the standout performers in Richard Linklater's Everybody Wants Some!! earlier this year, so it's great to see him take on such a high profile role. The actor (who looks pretty Clark Kent-ish in this picture) will appear in not only the first episode of season two, but the second episode as well (and probably that epic crossover between Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow). What do you think about the newest Man of Steel?...

Ryan Gosling's back on the big screen ... and he's got some sexy costars. The actor appears in the just-released trailer for "The Big Short," where he stars alongside Brad Pitt, Christian Bale and Steve Carell. The movie -- adapted from Michael Lewis' 2012 book by the same name -- tells the story of a few calculated men who capitalized on the housing and credit bubble, before it imploded in the early 2000s. The consequential economic meltdown created one of the largest recessions in U.S. history. In the clip, Michael Burry (played by Bale) discovers that the then-booming housing market is being built on faulty loans. That's when Ben Hockett (Pitt), Greg Lippmann (Gosling) and Steve Eisman (Carell) cultivate one extremely lucrative plan to work the system. We can't wait to see the boys in action -- and their awesome makeovers -- when "The Big Short" hits theaters December 25! What...

Another familiar face is returning for Heroes Reborn. Sendhil Ramamurthy is set to reprise his role as Dr. Mohinder Suresh, the geneticist who continued his father’s work after his death, studying the “evolved humans,” in NBC’s revival of the once hit sci-fi series. “Had proper channels been followed, this would not have happened,” Metrolink spokesman Jeff Lustgarten tells TheWrap
As Burbank police analyze surveillance footage recorded from the Metrolink train that struck and killed Bravo “Work Out” star Gregory Plitt Jr., a spokesman for the rail company is speaking out about the accident that claimed the actor’s life.

“Had the proper channels been followed, this would not have happened,” Lustgarten said as he explained that Plitt was not authorized to be on the train tracks.

"The Walking Dead" has millions of fans across all demographics, but the one actor on the show who seems to draw the most impassioned responses is Norman Reedus. The actor behind Daryl Dixon visited "Katie" alongside costars Andrew Lincoln and Steve Yeun and opened up about his craziest fan experience.
"The one people talk about a lot is the breast implant. It's actually my phone cradle in my trailer back in Georgia," he says as Katie Couric's talk show showed the implant in question. "[The fan] said I seem depressed and I should take that to feel better. And actually when I opened it, Steven was doing interviews, so he was surrounded by international press, and I opened it and I threw it at him."
At least Reedus is putting the gift to good use. Another sneak peek from the interview, which airs on Oct. 18, shows Reedus discussing what he thinks...
