According to reunion master Andy Cohen, 90 percent of all questions about Top Chef: Texas had to do with Beverly and the trio of sweaty, foul-mouthed meanies who bullied her throughout the competition. But honestly, after a whole season in which the food took a backseat to all the undercooked drama in the kitchen, I was glad that most of the reunion focused on other topics — like Ty-lör and his furry bottom (click this borderline-nsfw link at your own risk). Oh my God. Seriously, why were we subjected to that? He’s a good-looking guy, but in that photo he...

Say what you will about this season of Top Chef — sure, the challenges haven’t been too inspiring, and there haven’t been that many standout contestants — but Last Chance Kitchen is where it’s all going down! Like Top Chef’s version of Redemption Island, Last Chance Kitchen is the series of webisodes that has eliminated contestants face off head-to-head for a chance to return to the competition. Nyesha, prematurely eliminated in a group challenge for a mistake that wasn’t her fault, went on a five-challenge winning streak until the embattled Beverly — who’s been bullied pretty much nonstop by mean girls Heather,...

If you haven't had a chance to check out Top Chef this season, you seriously need to. Not because of the cheftestants' popularity -- to be honest, the personalities we're seeing this go around in Austin, while pleasant for the most part, are lacking any real flair. There are no Hungs or Carlas or Fabios to root for (and thankfully no real Marcels to hate either) so, minus a few pointless forays into girly cattiness, it's been a fairly drama-free season.
What makes this show's ninth season the best one I've ever seen has nothing to do with who's competing and everything to do with the clever use of recent guest stars Charlize Theron and Paul Reubens (in character as Pee Wee Herman). Am I seriously hinging "The Best Season Ever" on only two episodes? Yeah, I am -- why? Because they were That fucking good.

This season of Top Chef: Texas has been really cooking! TheInsider.com caught up it's latest castoff, Top Chef's happy-go-luckiest cheftestant ever, Chris Jones. With his ultra-positive attitude in tow, the Chicago-based chef dished on everything from being up for 96 hours between the barbeque challenge and Restaurant Wars to the drama in the house and all the internet hubbub about his high pony tail (turns out he has been growing it out for Locks of Love!). Check out what the chefm who really does "love everybody on this planet," has to say about his grueling time on Top Chef!
Insider.com: How does it feel to leave so far into the show?
Chris Jones: Of course it’s a great opportunity to be working with these people for so long, and to make it as far as I did. I guess my biggest concern is that I just want everybody to be proud, and I...

It was a day of highs and lows for Chris Jones on Top Chef. After winning the quickfire with Grayson, he came up short in the head-to-head elimination challenge with his healthy, but ultimately dry and underseasoned, take on a chicken salad sandwich for a 200-person block party. "I did everything I was supposed to do in prep and was way ahead of schedule, but I didn't think about a 110-degree day in the heat and having sandwiches sit out there with no refrigeration," Jones tells TVGuide.com. Find out why he knew he would get cut, why he was disappointed in the challenge, and the story behind his half-ponytail.

It’s Top Chef Texas episode 7, entitled “Game On”, which was also the title of the first episode of the first reality show in history (a 1932 radio serial called “Y’all Survive Now, Y’hear?” where contestants tried to literally survive the Dust Bowl. They’d always be like, “I’m here to cook My food to survive the Dust Bowl”.) The guest judge is Tim Love (surprised it’s taken this long to see him), and for the Quickfire, the chefs will have to prepare dishes that pair well with Don Julio tequila, meaning, they will have to prepare a dish and set it next to some tequila. “I made a lime-infused worm with an end of night bad idea reduction…” After 12 shots of tequila, Tim and Padma are a little tipsy when it comes time to judge: Ed declares, “Tequila and Tim Love? Sounds like a great way to spend a morning.

It’s Top Chef Texas Episode 6, entitled “Higher Steaks,” and I think we can all tell from that title what the chefs will be cooking this week: Hi-c and Beefsteak Tomatoes. Sounds like a gross challenge, but as we know, everything is Somethinger in Texas (I don’t know, I’m running out of these). First things first, this episode included my absolute favorite moment of the Top Chef Season so far – This royalty-free knockoff version of the “Dallas” theme song: Who Stabbed R.J.??? Never forget… For the Quickfire, the chefs are still in Dallas at Le Cordon Bleu cooking school (French for “The Blue Cord”), and they’ll have to show off their skills as Sauciers. I’m glad Padma just straight-up said, “This week we’re gonna be doing sauces,” instead of trying to vaguely connect it to Texas, like “Those 19th Century oil prospectors had some notoriously saucy attitudes…...

We at EW scoured the TV line-up last night to find the best one-liners from your favorite shows.
