[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for FBI: Most Wanted Season 5 Episode 4 “Hollow.”] FBI: Most Wanted gave us two reasons to want to not watch what was playing out on the screen with the latest episode: what the serial killer was doing with the organs he took from his victims and what awaited Barnes (Roxy Sternberg) when she got home. Sure, the latter wasn’t bloody or tragic, but considering we love Barnes and her wife Charlotte (Fedna Jacquet) together, it wasn’t good! At the beginning of the episode, Charlotte’s heading out of town for a trial, and the conversation turns to the anniversary Barnes missed due to work. The two obviously need to reconnect, but then a call about a case comes in. As Barnes sees it, it’s the life they chose. Charlotte doesn’t exactly agree. Then, when Barnes gets home, she finds Charlotte waiting in the dark. The kids are with ...

It’s hard to decide what’s more concerning about the March 12 episode of FBI: Most Wanted: the case, with a serial killer, or what’s going on in Sheryll Barnes’ (Roxy Sternberg) life outside of work, since we’re such fans of her marriage. In “Hollow,” the Fugitive Task Force heads upstate to assist in a search for missing and murdered Indigenous women and hunt down the serial killer responsible. Meanwhile, Barnes struggles to find time to bond with her wife, Charlotte (Fedna Jacquet). And something tells us this case won’t make that any easier. Below, Sternberg previews the challenges to come. The job is taking a toll on Barnes’ marriage. How would you describe Barnes and Charlotte’s relationship at this point? Roxy Sternberg: I think Barnes is somewhat oblivious to—of course, I think she’s aware that they could benefit from some date nights and extra time.

Ain’t No Mo’, the Broadway debut of author and star Jordan E. Cooper, opened at the Belasco Theatre on Dec. 1 to the sort of reviews producers and playwrights dream about. Even the few critics who weren’t completely won over couldn’t help but point out a singular brilliance at work here, not to mention a stars-in-the-making cast and more laugh-out-loud moments than most of the rest of Broadway combined. A celebrity-packed opening night, with producer Lee Daniels greeting a crowd that included Gabrielle Union, Dwayne Wade and C. J. Uzomah – who happen to be among the starry cohort of co-producers – as well as Matthew Broderick, Tamron Hall, Deborah Cox, Stephanie Mills, Latanya Richardson Jackson, Susan Kelechi Watson, Camryn Manheim, Tony Kushner, Tituss Burgess, Gayle King, Pat Williams, Christopher Sieber, Jennifer Simard, Colton Ryan, Ari’el Stachel and Timothy Olyphant suggested nothing less than the buzzy arrival of Broadway’s next big thing,...

Two new productions opened on Broadway within the last few days, demonstrating that Broadway, at the very least, can accommodate works of remarkable diversity – a diversity in levels of ambition not least. One takes remarkable chances and all but announces the arrival of a singular new theatrical voice. The other, with a team of immensely talented Broadway veterans both on stage and behind the scenes that so relies on overused formula and tired tropes that it can’t even breathe life into some of the most irresistible pop songs of the last half-century.
First, the good news: Ain’t No Mo’, the audacious Broadway debut of writer-performer Jordan E. Cooper powerfully directed by Broadway newcomer Stevie Walker-Webb, is a marvel, compelling even when its considerable reach exceeds its grasp, a mix of sketch comedy, satire, social commentary, drama and tour de force performances that places Ain’t No Mo’ are the forefront of the outlandish,...

FBI: Most Wanted's Julian McMahon Discusses the Duality of an Intense, Action-Packed Holiday Episode
FBI: Most Wanted‘s fall finale is not only different in that it will air an hour earlier (this Tuesday at 9/8c), but in how it represents a “huge departure” for the CBS procedural, says series lead Julian McMahon.
The holiday-themed outing opens festively enough with McMahon’s Special Agent Jess Lacroix out Christmas shopping with daughter Tali (YaYa Gosselin), girlfriend Sarah (Jen Landon) and his dad Byron (Terry O’Quinn). But just as they run into FBI colleague Sheryll Barnes (Roxy Sternberg) and her expectant wife Charlotte (Fedna Jacquet), gunshots ring out across the mall, as three masked and armored shooters terrorize shoppers.
