As an actor and comedian, Ryan Chittaphong has performed all over the world including such countries as Finland, Russia, Latvia, Honduras, and the United States. He performs regularly as a company member of the Story Pirates, on improv house teams at Upright Citizens Brigade, Rubbish Comedy Collective and The Armory, as well as the hit NYC comedy show Entirely From Memory with Ten Bones Theatre.
He has also worked with such companies as the Berkshire Theatre Festival, The Flea Theater, HERE Arts Center, Nashville Repertory Theatre, Harold Clurman Laboratory Theater Company, The Grand Ole Opry (where he was a Hank Williams impersonator for 3 years) and Stella Adler Studio of Acting.
Ryan also serves as the Director of Marketing at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting where he also teaches Acting Technique and Improvisation. He was a co-founder of film production company Glamsmash Productions.
Growing up in southern town of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Ryan graduated cum laude from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Performance and a minor in Leadership Studies before heading to the Berkshire Theatre Festival to work under the leadership of Artistic Director Kate Maguire.
