Behaviour Interactive is busy this week. Already having dropped a new teaser trailer for The Casting of Frank Stone, they’ve now announced that they’re teaming up with Icelandic developers Haenir Studio to help with development of the Medieval co-op action horror title Blight: Survival.
“Teaming up with Behaviour Interactive signals the next major phase of development for Blight: Survival,” said Haenir Studio Co-Founder, Mads Christensen. “With Blight: Survival, we set out to deliver an ambitious and unique experience for players. Being able to utilize Behaviour’s resources, expertise, and horror pedigree will be instrumental in bringing our vision to life. We’re thrilled to kick off this journey together.”
First announced back in 2022, Blight: Survival takes place in the no man’s land between two desperate kingdoms locked in a ceaseless war. Within this realm of death and decay, a new strain of Blight has erupted from the remains of the fallen.

Behaviour Interactive has decided to drop a little something in the form of a new trailer for those fans eager for more info about The Casting of Frank Stone, which is still on track for release later this year. The brief trailer centres around a radio report of a double murder, for which no suspect has been identified. But we all know where this leads.
The shadow of Frank Stone looms over Cedar Hills, a town forever altered by his violent past. As a group of young friends are about to discover, Stone’s blood-soaked legacy cuts deep, leaving scars across families, generations, and the very fabric of reality itself. In the depths of an Oregon steel mill, the gruesome crimes of a sadistic killer spawn horrors beyond comprehension.
Delve into the mystery of Cedar Hills alongside an original cast of characters bound together on a twisted journey where nothing is quite as it seems.

It’s no secret that the current world economic climate is fraught right now. Developers aren’t immune to the bite of inflation and a potential recession, and The Dark Pictures Anthology developer Supermassive Games appears to be the latest example.
The developer took to X this morning to announce that despite their best efforts, the company is “entering into a period of consultation,” where they will lay off members of the team.
Bloomberg reports that Supermassive will lay off roughly 90 of its 300 staff, or about 30 percent of its work force. Members of the development team were made aware of this decision this morning.
“It’s no secret that the games industry is currently facing significant challenges, and unfortunately we aren’t immune to this,” reads the statement. “After much deliberation and with deep regret, we are therefore undertaking a reorganization of Supermassive Games. This is not a decision that’s been taken lightly,...

In December 2023, a new chapter of the hit horror video game series Dead By Daylight was announced. Instead of new additions to the core multiplayer game that the series is known for, Behaviour Interactive instead revealed a new single-player driven experience in collaboration with Supermassive Games, dubbed The Casting of Frank Stone. A shroud of mystery still surrounds Frank Stone–aside from its reveal trailer and an interactive teaser website, the developers have been keeping additional details under the wraps.
As a huge fan of both Dead By Daylight and Supermassive Games’ titles like Until Dawn and The Dark Pictures Anthology, I immediately jumped at the chance to touch base with both development teams to see what, if any, further details I could find out. I managed to unearth some clues from Behavour Interactive’s Mathieu Cote and Dave Richard, as well as Supermassive Games’ Steve Goss–read on to...

Supermassive Games announced last year that they were working on their next game, and it turns out they’re teaming up with Behaviour Interactive for a new title from the world of Dead by Daylight in The Casting of Frank Stone. Set to arrive in 2024, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and on PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store, the game will be using Dead by Daylight’s mythology and feature the story of brand-new characters.
“We’re always looking at ways to offer different experiences to the Dead by Daylight community,” states Mathieu Côté, Head of Partnerships at Behaviour Interactive. “Our players have been interested in a single-player narrative experience for quite some time, and we’re excited to expand the Dead by Daylight universe and explore new territory with Supermassive games, a studio that is at the forefront of modern video game storytelling.”

Welcome back to another review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which features eight matches on the card. We’ve got regulars Paul Wight and Matt Menard on commentary as usual. So let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Dark Order def. El Dragon, El Cobarde, and Vary Morales
My Thoughts: I’ll repeat Exactly what I said last week… Another win (and appearance in fact) for Dark order on Aew’s YouTube shows. No sure what the plan is for this now-diminished faction but they’re back doing skits about hiring folks to be in the group on Bte, so maybe that’s a good sign? Otherwise, this was your typical Dark Order squash match against enhancement talent.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #2: Big Bill def. Gino
My Thoughts: Squash! And one that went on too long for a squash match. Ridiculous.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #3: Jade Cargill and Leila Grey def.
