There were no easy victories to be found in Round 1 of Primetimer's Ultimate Reality TV Villains bracket. On Monday, half the field "sashayed away" as Survivor's Russell Hantz bested drag queen Phi Phi O'Hara, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino Gtl-ost to David "Puck" Rainey in a clash of the nicknamed MTV personalities, and Tyra Banks defeated Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger. Not even widely respected villains were safe from elimination, as Vanderpump Rules' Jax Taylor fell to Housewife Ramona Singer and her gross pattern of microaggressions.

For the second time in herstory, RuPaul's Drag Race is running an all-star season, bringing back 10 of the most popular non-winners from previous seasons for another chance at the crown.
While the show will have big changes – including the dissolution of the widely-criticized team competition that plagued the first All Stars season – none are as welcome as new permanent judge Todrick Hall.
The 31-year-old YouTube sensation is joining the panel alongside Carson Kressley, Michelle Visage and RuPaul herself.
In addition to an exclusive sneak peek at Hall's introduction along guest judge Raven-Symoné, People has the exclusive sneak peek at Hall on Thursday's premiere!

Get ready for the return of your favorite drag queens because later this month RuPaul's Drag Race is giving us another All Stars season. Can you believe we are already getting more eleganza when it feels like season 8 just ended?
In case you haven't seen the cast, here's our returning queens:
Adore Delano (Season 6) Alaska (Season 5) Alyssa Edwards (Season 5) Coco Montrese (Season 5) Detox (Season 5) Ginger Minj (Season 7) Katya Zamolodchikova (Season 7) Phi Phi O'Hara (Season 4) Roxxxy Andrews (Season 5) Tatianna (Season 2)
That is an overload of season five realness, but if it means the return of Rolaskatox, we are perfectly okay with that. Tatianna is the only returning early season competitor and maybe the season's underdog - don't forget she was the original Snatch Game winner with her Britney Spears ("I got lost!"). Overall this cast is heavy with strong performers ready to bring the drama. This round is forgoing the first...

Back in 2009, you'd be hard-pressed to find an average American who knew the definition of a death drop or how to read a queen for filth. That all changed with RuPaul's Drag Race, the must-see competition series returning this summer with its second All Stars season on Logo. And it promises to be bitchier and funnier than ever.
"The girls dropped whatever they were doing to do this," RuPaul says. "We've got a hundred girls now, so we could pretty much do All Stars forever."

Jonathan Ross has said that he is working on producing a UK version of RuPaul's Drag Race.
The comic and TV host revealed that he is a huge fan of the Us show and the art of drag as a whole.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Ross said that the project was in its early stages.
"I've been working with Jodie [Harsh] on a UK version of RuPaul's Drag Race," he explained.
"Unfortunately we have had to take a break because of some family issues. But we're hoping to pick it up again in the near future.
"I am definitely serving 'middle-aged-realness!'" the 53-year-old joked.
"I love drag and I love Meth - the performer – as well as Betty Bottom Dollar.
"I think it's a fabulous art," he added. "I am a huge fan of RuPaul's Drag Race."
Drag Race is currently in its sixth season, with past winners including Sharon Needles and Jinkx Monsoon.

Vulture is holding the ultimate Reality Rumble to determine the greatest season of the greatest reality-tv shows, from The Real World on. Each day, a different writer will be charged with determining the winner of a round of the bracket, until Vulture's Margaret Lyons judges the finals on March 25. As round one continues, Tara Ariano pits RuPaul's Drag Race's fourth season (the Sharon Needles/Chad Michaels/Phi Phi O'Hara showdown) against the seismic and groundbreaking first season of Survivor, which introduced the world to alliances. On the surface, RuPaul's Drag Race seems like a winking spin on America's Next Top Model, with RuPaul self-awarely sending up Tyra's mother-hen loopiness. But at its core, it is perhaps the most hardcore talent competition in TV history — and no, I'm not kidding. Where contestants on other performance competition shows have their future staked on one talent, Drag Race queens need to be...

RuPaul's Drag Race is a competition based on the unbeatable criteria of charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent, but a quick glance at the show's contestant history proves that deadly good looks may be a part of the package. And sometimes the package is part of the deadliness. Ow-ow! Cue the chicken laugh, Detox.

RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars - Are These Queens Your All-Stars? Update: Yes They Are!

While there is a lot to get excited for, the official announcement was scheduled to be revealed tomorrow after the season finale of RuPaul's Drag U. Washington -- America's Next Drag Superstar does not look like the other drag superstars. When season 4 of "RuPaul's Drag Race" began, Sharon Needles stood out. In a reality show competition about drag queens, this isn't very easy to do.
Sharon Needles was crowned winner of "Drag Race" in late April. Since then her calendar has filled up with drag appearances, plays, photo shoots, parties and more. The drag star from Pittsburgh via Iowa has more in common with artists like Marilyn Manson than the show's namesake. Appealing to an under-served community of punks and freaks, Needles has the potential to become this generation's Elvira.
Needles, along with "RuPaul's Drag Race" season 4 contestants Phi Phi O'Hara and Dida Ritz will be performing at Town this Friday, coinciding with Capital Pride.
Needles spoke to The Huffington Post about her new title, love of Pittsburgh, new cars and more.
The Huffington Post: Are you still living in Pittsburgh?...

All hail the queen! RuPaul's Drag Race: Why Sharon Needles Deserves To Win
Tonight, fans of RuPaul's Drag Race will finally find out just who will win the title of America's Next Drag Superstar during highly anticipated reunion special. Due to the events of last week's finale, this post was postponed until today. However, there were more reasons why I held off on writing this article. Some were time related and others were of a conflicting way due to some hurtful and damaging remarks that came across my peripheral, which forced me to reevaluate my stance on a certain contestant that I cheered for throughout the competition. Thanks to a chance look on my Facebook timeline today and the unwavering faith I had in someone, I can rectify that situation by not only finally getting this article written, but by apologizing to Sharon Needles for even letting one glimmer of doubt taint my judgement of her character.

Your channel guide may have told you that this past Monday's episode of RuPaul's Drag Race was supposed to be the finale, when classy Cher impersonator Chad Michaels, spooky, stupid and sensational goth-chic Sharon Needles, or annoying and ambitious Phi Phi O'Hara would take the crown, and the cash.
But when the time came for the final announcement, instead of this season's highly anticipated winner, Ru revealed a twist: This year's Next Drag Superstar will be revealed at next Monday's reunion special. Lots of fans were angry to have to wait for the results -- and at the usually cheeky and smart reality show's shameless pleas for Twitter and Facebook votes -- but personally, I'm just excited to have a whole 'nother week to espouse my Rpdg finale theories! (And plan an epic finale viewing party!)...

As we enter the final days of this season of RuPaul's Drag Race, we have been hit with a curveball from Ms. RuPaul herself: No queen has been crowned. If you watched the last episode, you know that RuPaul has decided to let the fans decide who becomes "America's Next Drag Superstar" by voting via Twitter (#DragRace) or Facebook. RuPaul tweeted the reasoning behind this move, stating, "Last year shady queens leaked the winner. This time we're keeping it secret till the very last moment." In defense of what many are calling a publicity stunt to hike up ratings and build upon the momentum of this season, I say, "Bravo, Ru." The final queens are Phi Phi O'hara, Chad Michael, and the now-infamous (and Lady Gaga's personal favorite) Sharon Needles.
But wait! There is something a little fishy about two of these queens and their politics: They may have made racist comments.

It was a trip down memory lane looking back at the season on this week's "RuPaul's Drag Race" (Mon., 10 p.m. Et on Logo). One of the things that's helped make this season so memorable is the star-studded judging panel they've managed to line up.
Celebrities from Kelly Osbourne to Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Pamela Anderson and others graced the stage and proved that they could have as much campy fun as RuPaul does on the show.
The "Glamazon" rewind featured plenty of behind-the-scenes footage, including some conversations that may have been a little too hot and distracting for the show, but were perfect fodder for this sort of thing.

I have no interest in 'real.' I find real people boring."
Those telling words were spoken by the actress Rose McGowan on the penultimate episode of the latest season of RuPaul's Drag Race. I suddenly appreciate Rose more. It's true that reality is not exactly her forte. She's best known as a television witch and when popular culture eventually forgets her, isn't it entirely likely that the single enduring image from her career will be that Grindhouse chick with a machine gun for a leg. It doesn't get more much unreal than that.
The final four drag contestants were the acclaimed Cher-loving Chad Michaels, the large glamourous Latrice Royale, "busted show queen" Phi Phi O'Hara and funny spooky Sharon Needles. I knew that hateful Phi Phi would make the final three because someone despicable always makes it to reality tv finales. But never mind that. Let's talk movie references!

Rose McGowan and Wynonna Judd sat in on the week's festivities on "RuPaul's Drag Race" (Mon., 10 p.m. Et on Logo). But it was a heartbreaking finale, as arguably the season's most beloved queen was told to sashay away. First, though, it was another challenge win for Sharon Needles, who impressed McGowan with a pair of fierce furry boots she admitted to spending five-and-a-half hours creating. They matched the poodle she strutted beside perfectly.
When it came time for the elimination, even RuPaul seemed saddened to be saying goodbye. "I bow to you," she said to Latrice Royale, who's big heart had won over everyone in the competition, and everyone at home.
But it was Royal's farewell speech that had McGowan in tears, emphasizing what she saw as the importance of a show like this. "You have changed my life forever," Royale told Ru. "You have changed the world of drag forever.

When it comes to Chicago-based drag queen Dida Ritz, what you see is, more or less, what you get.
The popular Logo reality competition series "RuPaul's Drag Race" has become virtually synonymous with the sort of side-eyed spiciness stereotypically ascribed to the modern drag performer's persona. Its weekly "Untucked" web feature consists of the queen-on-queen altercations that don't make the main episode's final cut. But throughout the season, Dida was one of a number of contestants who preferred, instead, to stay out of dramas and instead focus on bringing her best effort to the stage each week.
Though Dida was eliminated at the end of the show's ninth episode, this queen, the child of a pastor, is hardly one to hold a grudge. She has emerged from her stint on the Logo series ready and raring for her next adventure. HuffPost Chicago recently spoke with the budding drag diva.

It was time to "Frock The Vote" as "RuPaul's Drag Race" (Mon., 10 p.m. Et on Logo) got into the spirit of the 2012 Presidential Race with a politics-themed challenge.
However, campaigning for the Wig Party nomination Phi Phi O'Hara seriously offended Latrice Royale and Dida Ritz.
Guest judge Dan Savage asked Phi Phi which one of her fellow drag queens she'd choose as her running mate and why.
"I think it's so great that the help" said Phi Phi, gesturing toward her black competitors, "can sit there and compete alongside me. So I'd definitely like to say, my help: Dida Ritz!"
As Phi Phi continued on her highly questionable way, Ritz could be seen mouthing her outraged response and Royale looked thunderous. Meanwhile, Savage's jaw literally dropped.
"Did she just call me 'the help?'" asked Ritz. For her part, an angry Royale said "I'm from Compton. I'll whoop your...

Watching last night's Drag Race episode sort of leaves you looking like this.
"Rules? What rules?!"
Fans of RuPaul's Drag Race are reeling from this week's episode, which saw singing, dancing, "frenemies" Sharon Needles and Phi Phi O'Hara forced to work together, guest judges Pamela Anderson and Jennifer Tilly in the house, RuPaul subjecting the queens to lie-detector tests, and then, right at the end, a bizarre, unexplainable elimination. Wtf?!
As it turned out, one of the most successful queens of the season thus far was called out for "breaking the rules" and then immediately sent home. And we're all still waiting to find out why!
Jon Mallow and I have a few ideas of our own about why Queen X (no spoilers here; you gotta watch our video recap for that) was sent packing. What exactly does a gal have to do to get booted out of RuPaul's Drag Race?...

There was high drama on "RuPaul's Drag Race" (Mon., 10 p.m. Et on Logo) Monday night when one of the contestants made a shock exit from the show.
After Willam and Latrice Royale had won the "Frenemy" challenge, Sharon Needles and Phi Phi O'Hara were up for elimination.
However, as they waited anxiously to find out which one RuPaul was sending home, things went in a surprising direction.
RuPaul asked Willam to step forward. Like everyone else, Sharon Needles wondered "What the hell is happening?"
"Willam," said RuPaul, "you won tonight because you are a beautiful and talented queen, but it has come to my attention that you have broken the rules."
As the stunned queens looked on in shock, RuPaul disqualified Willam. "You leave me no choice. Willam, I have to ask you to leave the competition immediately."
And then the coup de grace for the disgraced Willam: "Sashay.

It was "Dragazine" week on "RuPaul's Drag Race" (Mon. 10 p.m. Et on Logo) as the contestants each had to produce their own magazine.
As usual, the competition was fierce, but there may also have been some deliberate sabotage going on.
Jiggly Caliente was pondering making it "real" and making his dragazine a serious publication. Was that such a good idea?
Chad Michaels certainly didn't think so. "I suggest you do not do this for real," he warned. "I think you should make it funny. Everybody likes to laugh."
However, Phi Phi O'Hara decided to step in and offer some advice, telling Jiggly to keep it real "if you feel like you can get more with the serious route." Was it a sincere attempt to help Jiggly? Or was it more sinister?
An outraged Latrice Royale thought Phi Phi was just being "shady!"
Later, Phi Phi admitted to Willam that...

Note: Do not read on if you have not seen Season 4, Episode 2 of "RuPaul's Drag Race."
We kick things off with a whole lot of shade for Jiggly Caliente, who nearly went home last week. In memoriam of the first queen to go, Alisa, apparently Jiggly deemed to necessary to wear a slashed, off-the-shoulder top a la Sammi on "Jersey Shore."
Jiggly is worried that the other queens are doing more than just reading her: "I feel like there's a target in the back of my head and all these bitches are trying to assassinate me," she says.
But ooh, gurl: We got SheMail. Ru's come to pump up the girls and says it's time for some necessary roughness (just don't hurt the face).
For the mini-challenge, the queens have to literally make asses of themselves. They have 30 minutes to use a whole lot of foam, packing peanuts and the...
