It was a Cancun wedding for Survivor: One World contestant Alicia Rosa.
The reality star, who finished fifth on the long-running show in 2012, tied the knot with attorney Mark Waller on Saturday at the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort in Cancun.
Several of Rosa’s fellow Survivors attended the ceremony, including Nina Acosta, Matt Quinlan and winners Kim Spradlin Wolfe and Aras Baskauskas.
While the ceremony and the reception went without a hitch, Rosa, 30, did have some trouble finding the perfect dress. After a bridal shop twice failed to deliver the gown she had ordered, Rosa found herself without anything to wear.

Matt Quinlan thought his muscles would make him invaluable on Survivor: One World, but he was wrong. Quinlan, 33, believed his alliance of alpha-males would dominate but the "Misfits" had other plans. After the women won their first immunity challenge of the season, the attorney from San Francisco was the first person evicted from his all-male tribe. Following his eviction, Quinlan spoke to People about gaining respect for his tribe mate Colton, how the tide is shifting after the women's first win and why the battle of the sexes twist ruined his strategy. Did you have any idea you would be going home?...

Add Matt Quinlan to the list of early "Survivor: One World" exit interviewees lamenting the ramifications of the season's gender-split tribes. As one of the game's core Alpha Males, Matt would have at least been a temporary asset in most "Survivor" seasons -- a potential challenge boon and perhaps a provider -- and the Alpha Male alliance he formed at the start of the game would have been valuable, at least until it became blindside time for the more smartly strategic players. Instead, in our conversation after he became the season's first evicted man on Wednesday (Feb. 29) night,...

Matt Quinlan was the first casualty from the mens' tribe on "Survivor: One World." He tells Zap2it that he wasn't blindsided, and while he was disappointed to go home, he's really glad he did "Survivor."
Are you glad you did "Survivor"? Was it everything you hoped or expected it to be?
"Yeah, for sure. I'm very fortunate to have done it. It was what I thought it was. The outcome was not what I hoped for, or what I anticipated for me personally, of coruse, but I'm so happy that I did it. What an unbelievable experience, so I had no regrets."
How did you feel about the twists?
"The same beach didn't both me, but the gender divide really did. It really changed everything for my position. It made me very expendable from the very first day. I was preparing mentally to play the game mixed-gender so that when we competed,...

Voting off arrogant attorney Matt Quinlan was the men's best option, argues former 'Survivor' player Rob Cesternino.

The men of "Survivor: One World" thought they had everything under control. They were wrong.
After a seemingly inescapable two-week losing streak, the female-populated Salani tribe bounced back big in the latest episode of "Survivor" with two straight challenge wins, sending the boys of Manolo to tribal council for the very first time. Before the vote, straight-shooting attorney Matt Quinlan, 33, tried to convince elder statesman Troy "Troyzan" Robertson, 50, to abandon his ragtag allies and join his cause. Matt represents the "roosters" of Manolo, he arrogantly argued, while Troy was siding with the less-than-equal "chickens." One confusing analogy and nine votes later, it was cocky rooster Matt who found his goose cooked.
With two straight losses under their belts,...

Survivor 24,One World eliminated Matt Quinlan in episode 3 tonight. Tonight's episode kicked off with the girls, trying to stay positive after booting Nina off the show in the last episode. Then they got utterly rained and froze out, because they didn't have any tarps or shelter. After the break, the guys went ahead and let the ladies share their fire and warmth for a little while. Next, they showed Rewards Challenge footage. In the challenge, individual tribe members competed against each other in memory challenges. The first team to get 5 points, won. The women ended up,kicking the guy's butts in this one with a score of 5-0,and won a complete fishing supply kit and canoe as the reward. After the break, the women continued to get rained on,and had to beg the men to help them out again. The guys reluctantly helped them, but complained that the...
