Welcome to this week’s Nwa: Powerrr review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and Power is back! I’m not spelling it with the dumb triple r thing. I hate the way Pumpkin Boy books the Nwa. I have a feeling we’ll get more of the same with the return of Powerrr, but at least the Nwa was not sold to Vince McMahon (that we know of). Dokken’s “Into the Fire” is back as the theme. Don’t f—k with Dokken! With that, I say it’s time to get right to it. Nwa: Power starts…go fish!

Directors Jason Henne and Christopher Leto were influenced by slashers from the ‘80s. Now, with Crazy Lake, they deliver their own slasher to horror fans this October. Starring Rob Mello (Magnificent Seven), Skyler Joy (21 Jump Street), Libby Blanton, Marco DelVecchio, Tom Latimer and Ashley Nicole Allen, the film brings several friends together at a remote camping spot. It is all fun and good times, until an escaped convict enters the area!
Official Synopsis:
A group of coeds looking for fun on spring break have their beach plans cancelled and opt for plan B – fun at a cabin on the lake. Sometimes plan b can be a real killer!
Distributor Indican Pictures have today released the official trailer and poster for Crazy Lake – which had its World Premiere at the Sunscreen Film Festival in Florida, and comes to Video-on-demand and DVD on October 3rd.

Stars: Kenny Johnson, Bill Goldberg, Mindy Robinson, Tyler Mane, William Forsythe, Kane Hodder, Krista Grotte, Michelle Lee, Fred Williamson, Olga Safari, Ricky Harris | Written by Thomas J. Churchill, Aj Perez | Directed by Thomas J. Churchill
Apparently “inspired by true events” (or so the opening title card says), Check Point is the latest film from Thomas J. Churchill who – until now – has worked extensively in the horror genre. Here he not only brings his experience to the action movie genre, but also some acting talent too – the film features Jason Vorhees actor Kane Hodder and former Michael Myers, Tyler Mane, too! But that pair are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Check Point‘s cast: just look at the cast list above – it reads like a who’s who of genre talent. Old school performers William Forsythe and Fred Williamson share screen time with the likes of...

It has been over a decade since Bill Goldberg was last seen in a professional wrestling ring as an active competitor, but rumours continue to persist about a return to wrestling for the late 90s wrestling icon.
Having spent less than a decade in the wrestling business, Goldberg has kept himself in great shape and remained healthy during his time away from the squared circle, leading many to believe that he still has one big match left in the tank.
In an interview with Channel Guide Magazine, Goldberg recently discussed a possible return. However, according to Goldberg, it’s not WWE who have been in contact with him about having another match.
“I was very lucky in that I did not kill myself during my tenure in the wrestling world. My body still can take some serious abuse as we see with me training Muay Thai kickboxing three days a week.
