Sean Wilkie is a neurodivergent Writer, Director and Stand-up Comedian from Glasgow, Scotland.
He graduated with a MA in Television Fiction Writing from Glasgow Caledonian University, where he won a scholarship from Shed Media and worked under the mentorship of BBC Producer, Claire Bell.
In 2006, he wrote, directed, and produced his first feature film Pondlife, which was screened at the Glasgow Film Theatre and selected for the Deep Fried Film Festival. Later, he created comedy stage play The Graduettes, which featured at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (2015) and the Glasgow Comedy Festival (2016). Sean was a finalist in the 2016 So You Think You Write Funny? competition in Edinburgh and in 2017, he adapted The Graduettes into a web series, and later a sitcom pilot which was in development with The Comedy Unit.
Sean has written and produced several comedy sketches for the BBC and written, directed, and produced a second feature film The Bench (2024). In 2022 he also worked as a writer on feature film, Matter of Time, starring Sean Astin.
