A. Brian Wheatley is a graduate of the film program at the Academy of
Art in San Francisco. He has written and directed over a dozen short
films.
During his time at the Academy he had the opportunity to learn from and work with film makers from Lucas Films, ILM, Pixar, and American Zoetrope.
In 2012, due to his love of practical special effects, he began working as an assistant for award winning Special Effects Artist Vincent Guastini. This turned in to a short-lived position as an Effects Supervisor that ended in late 2013.
In earl 2014, he returned to his directorial roots and began preproduction on his first as-of-yet unannounced feature length film.
