Jerome is back! After last week’s return from the mid-season hiatus, Gotham looks to come back in full force. They are starting yet another plot line. My main issue with Gotham this season is that it doesn’t seem to know what direction it wants to go. All the hype prior to Season 3 revolved around The Court of Owls. Remember them? They have been a part of this season…kind of. There was the Tetch story line, which was good, then the Barnes story line, which wasn’t. Next came the Mario Falcone plot, which was good, and lead to a great mid-season finale only to return with disappointment. Last week started well with a rightfully mad Lee demanding Gordon’s arrest all while Carmine sent Zsasz after him. This was a wasted opportunity as Lee went to visit Barnes and pulled a 180 telling Carmine...

We’ve got questions, and you’ve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, we’re lobbing queries left and right about shows including Gilmore Girls, Shameless, Gotham and Arrow!

1 | The Gilmore Girls revival’s Life & Death Brigade segment: Top notch, or time suck? (Either way, nowhere near as long as the Stars Hollow Musical, right?) Finally, did everyone forget that Tristan got kicked out/didn’t graduate from Chilton? Why was he at an alumni event?

The following recap, by the very definition of the word “recap,” contains monstrous spoilers from the Gotham Season 2 finale.
Strange days came to an end — though with stranger days perhaps to come — as Fox’s Gotham wrapped Season 2 on Monday night.
RelatedAsk Ausiello: Spoilers on Gotham Season 3 Villains and More
With Bruce and Lucius (held captive by Nygma) and Jim Gordon all unaccounted for after infiltrating Arkham with the intent of finding Strange’s secret lab, acting captain Harvey Bullock sent in an extraction team — until “Gordon” (actually a hinky Clayface) met them at the gate to ward them off.

We do love a behind-the-scenes documentary, so we're very excited about Channel 5's new series Inside Manchester's Midland Hotel. The show gives us a look behind the curtain - and it's not all as glamorous as you might think. Hooray!
To get you in the mood, we thought we'd introduce you to the stars of the show - the staff working busily to make sure your stay is (hopefully) as pleasant as possible...
Mike
Job: General Manager
Tell us more: Mike arrived at The Midland in 2005 to oversee the hotel's £15m refurbishment (no pressure). Now he's working on the hotel's spa project and he's the regional general manager for the QHotels chain. He's a bit of a busy chap.
Bonus fact: Mike was first made a general manager when he was just 25 - he has been married for 16 years and has three young daughters. Aww.
