Welcome to this review of Tna’s Sacrifice 2024 – which has rather swiftly followed their last PPV, No Surrender (which was only Two(!) weeks ago). Talk about pay-per-view fatigue – though can we call this a PPV? Isn’t it rather a Tna+ special? Whatever, let’s check out what went down on this show!
Countdown To Sacrifice Match #1: Digital Media Championship – Crazzy Steve def. Joe Hendry The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:

Welcome to this review of Tna’s No Surrender 2024 – which has a Stacked card featuring not one but Two Countdown to… matches, the first of which saw The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) defeat Speedball Mountain (Mike Bailey & Trent Seven); and the second saw The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) defeat Kushida & Kevin Knight. As I’ve said previously Tna know how to put a pay-per-view together, hopefully this show continues that trend.
Match #1: Eric Young def. Frankie Kazarian The following is courtesy of tnawrestling.com:
It’s a stalemate in the early going as both competitors match each other’s pace and offense. Kazarian gains the first advantage of the match with a back suplex, followed by a side Russian leg sweep. Welcome, one and all, to part two the second annual Nerdly WWE Top 50! I began this idea last year. Our version of such established ranking lists as the “Pwi 500” and the like, but just with WWE in mind. I mean, I watch other products and promotions, like Aew, New Japan, Ring of Honor and Nwa, but… sticking to one promotion, the promotion I tend to watch the most, makes sense, and makes this one-man-job a lot easier to do. This list will cover the last twelve months, from September 2019 until August of 2020.
Like last year, this will take into account work-rate, match-quality, visibility of the workers on television, their promo work, but also… and this is important to note, the way that they’ve been used. You see… there are men and women in WWE who, if they were used more often and booked in a more substantial manner, would...

Match #1: Kay Lee Ray & Jinny def. Piper Niven & Dani Luna The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In the opening matchup, Nxt UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray joined forces with Jinny against Piper Niven and up-and-comer Dani Luna. In the final moments, The Fashionista neutralized Niven by hurling her into the steel ring steps. She then delivered a hard right to Luna from the apron and paved the way for The Scary Queen of Scots to hit the Gory Bomb on Luna for the victory.
My Opinion: 2.8 out of 5 – Overall, this wasn’t half bad. There’s some fine wrestlers in here, but the match…I don’t know.

It’s funny to listen to these old bastards pick on the more successful guys and critique how they didn’t “draw money”, when there are so many factors in place that prevent even the biggest stars from actually drawing money. Nxt UK has a few stars in it, but doesn’t seem to be doing well enough as a brand all its own. Is it the wrestlers’ fault that Nxt UK isn’t raking in millions a week? Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt UK, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and I’m gonna tell Nai Nai she’s got cancer. I mean, she doesn’t, but I like f—— with her and she has a cold so…hell yeah! While I screw with my Asian grandma, you can mosey on down to the matches and take a look-see at what you’ve got to take a look at…’cuz Nai Nai’s got cancer…but she doesn’t.
Match #1: Piper Niven def. Dani Luna The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In her first match back since falling short in the epic Nxt UK Women’s Championship Triple Threat Match at TakeOver: Blackpool II against Kay Lee Ray and Toni Storm, Piper Niven looked extremely dominant in a matchup of extreme power against Dani Luna where she hit the Michinoku Driver for the victory.

Welcome to this week’s Nxt review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and there doesn’t seem to be much here, outside of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic finishing up, so I wouldn’t blame you if just skipped to the end.
Match #1: Finn Bálor def. Trent Seven The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In the wake of Finn Bálor’s vicious parking lot assault on Trent Seven one day earlier — a warning to stay out of his business with Johnny Gargano — the two Superstars squared off in Nxt’s opening matchup. The match was intense from the word “go.” Taking full advantage of The Big Strong Boi’s bruised larynx that he suffered as a result of his adversary’s attack, Bálor dominated the majority of the contest. Though the resilient Seven roared back and nearly put his foe away with the Seven Stars Lariat,...

Welcome to this week’s review of Nxt UK, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have Imperium doing what-ever guys in jackets do for fun. Let’s get to the madness…of Spartaaaaaaaaa!
Match #1: Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan def. The Hunt The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Danny Burch & Oney Lorcan returned to Nxt UK for the first time in almost a year to take on The Hunt. In the height of the very physical matchup, Wild Boar missed the splash on Burch as he crashed onto the ringside floor. Seconds later, Lorcan hit Primate with a devastating forearm as the animalistic Superstar was leaping from the ropes. This opened the door for a 2-on-1 big impact Ddt for the three-count.
My Opinion: 2.6 out of 5 – The right guys won a simple, light match that was a nice demo for some of the winners better moves.

Welcome to this review of Nxt UK Takeover Blackpool II, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have a whole lotta Walter in the main event. Okay, let’s make like Joaquin Phoenix and say some weird s—.
Match #1: Eddie Dennis def. Trent Seven The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
If Eddie Dennis sought to make a name for himself at Trent Seven’s expense, consider it a success. The former Headmaster knocked off The Big Strong Boi at TakeOver: Blackpool II for one of the biggest victories of his career. Overwhelming Seven early with an intense onslaught, including a massive Severn Bridge, Dennis tried to secure a quick victory with several early pinfall attempts. The Artful Dodger rallied with a tope suicida and snap dragon suplex on the outside of the ring, and from there, much of the action was a back-and-forth affair. That...

Welcome to this week’s Nxt UK review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and this is the first Nxt UK review of the year, so let’s blow it like Disney with Star Wars.
Match #1: Dave Mastiff def. Kona Reeves The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Prior to the first Nxt UK matchup of 2020, Nxt’s Kona Reeves took to the mic to blame everything in sight for his loss to Trent Seven several weeks ago. But when Kona turned his words to Dave Mastiff, “The Bomber” made him pay with a hard blow that sent his outspoken opponent to the canvas. Although the nefarious Reeves fought back with an earth-shattering assault, the dominant competitor sent his prey Into the Void for a big three-count.
My Opinion: 2.6 out of 5 – This was…enough. Mastiff looked like he was trying to eat Kona the whole time. El Pescado.

We’ve got lots of European’s a-peein’ in the pool…get off the f—— pool! I keep trying to say we’ve got wrestling here from the UK, but…get off the f—— pool! Okay, let’s just get to it before…damn it! Get off the f—— pool!
Match #1: Kenny Williams & Amir Jordan def. Pretty Deadly The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Returning from injury, Amir Jordan wasted no time rejoining Kenny Williams in tag team action. In the final moments, the reunited tandem scored a victory over Pretty Deadly on the wings of a Swanton Bombay from The Bhangra Bad Boy.
My Opinion: 2.7 out of 5 – This was better than...

Welcome to Jurassic Park! Over there, we have a big f—— dinosaur and over there, we have a big f—— dinosaur! I’m Samuel Hammond and th…damn TalkTech! I was watching the bootleg version of “Jurassic Park”. Spielberg got hammered and made an alternate version of the talking parts of the picture, which I now have a copy of. I’ll have to find the booklet for this sucker and turn the recorder off when I’m not working. Anyway, I’m Nathan Favel and this week’s review of Nxt UK starts now.
Match #1: Kay Lee Ray def. Isla Dawn The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Nxt UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray overcame Isla Dawn, taking full advantage of her opponent’s leg injuries and finally countering the deadly magic of The White Witch with her Widows Peak/Gory Bomb combination. Not content with her latest impressive victory,...

Welcome to this week’s Nxt UK review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have four matches, which is good. Yeah, don’t expect much excitement from me this time. I fell asleep on my toaster. I’ll let you figure out what that means.
Match #1: Trent Seven def. Kona Reeves The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Prior to his match against Trent Seven, Nxt’s Kona Reeves got on the mic in order to insult both the Nxt UK brand and The Artful Dodger. When words turned to action, Seven defended the honor of both himself and his brand when he overcame Reeves with the Burning Hammer. However, as he exchanged high-fives with the WWE Universe at ringside after the bell, someone suddenly grabbed his hand and didn’t let go. That man was a smiling Eddie Dennis, returning to the view of...

Welcome to this week’s Nxt UK review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and I look like a buffalo with its legs chopped off. This episode has a match or two, so let’s call Kevin Nash to make fun of the whole thing. Hey…their knees aren’t shot. $!@# them! Okay, let’s get to this before Big Sexy hits on the girl from catering and…never mind.
Match #1: Grizzled Young Veterans def. Ashton Smith & Oliver Carter The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
Last week, Oliver Carter came forth and volunteered to help Ashton Smith answer a challenge from the first-ever Nxt UK Tag Team Champions, Zack Gibson & James Drake. Noble as that gesture may have been, it wasn’t enough to overcome the tag team precision of a very focused Gibson & Drake on a mission to reclaim their crown, as they put a...

Welcome to this week’s Nxt UK review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have three matches, which is one more than two. Wow! Johnny Weir was on The Masked Singer. Wow! You’re about to read my writing. Ahhhhhhhhhhh! What’re you, crazy? Why should you have to suffer? Okay, let’s check in with the WWE’s European brand and see if the Power Rangers are gonna be there.
Match #1: Ligero def. Oliver Carter The following is courtesy of wwe.com:
In the final moments of an opening contest between two purely explosive athletes, Ligero glided between the ropes to blast Oliver Carter with a stunner. He then followed up with a superkick kick and the C4L for the victory over the charismatic up-and-comer.
My Opinion: 3 out of 5 – This worked out pretty well for a short one. These guys would do well on 205 Live,...

Welcome to this week’s Nxt UK review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and I used to be Amanda Bynes, but a bee stung me and I turned into a pasty-faced loser who can’t even spell the word “a”. It took me twenty minutes to figure out what letter to press for that damn word. I miss my old variety show. I made Taran Killam famous! That big dumb lurch owes me a buck an hour. I was friends with a giant lobster. Any-way, Nxt UK is on the docket, so let’s get my Penelope wig back from the Nickelodeon storage locker, because I want my !@#$?%& show back! Amanda please!
