- Cinematographer
Tobias Jenn, mainly known as Toby Jenn, began to make amateur shorts
from an early age and throughout his teenage years became a keen film
enthusiast. Slowly, he managed to assemble a crew of colleagues and in
2011, co-founded Uber Pictures with Luke Hawker.
After gaining acclaim for his short documentary, "Forget Me Not" in 2010, a film looking at the rise of dementia in contemporary society, he focused on other shorts. He began writing "I Confess" in 2010 and initially filmed a test run later that year but the final production was not up to standard and he abandoned pursuing the idea. However, with the inception of Uber Productions, the idea was rescued and Jenn managed to amend the script with a more talented and expansive crew and budget. "I Confess" is currently in post-production and due to hit the festival circuit in 2012.
He also secured the role of director for "The Chronicles of Ezra Holland and His Ambiguous Digital Love" for the second film from Uber Productions. The film is currently gaining a cult following and should also be released by the end of 2012.
