Candice M. Clasby is a Tenured Professor at Fullerton College serving as the Head of the Acting for Camera and Directing Programs. She received her MFA in Television, Film, and Theatre production and directing at CSU, Los Angeles. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts at CSU, Fullerton. She is Half-Portuguese on her Mothers side and speaks fluent Portuguese. She has a half sister who is a special needs educator.
Candice has been spending most of her professional career working as a Choreographer/Director in LA and Orange Counties. Most recently she choreographed 9 to 5 the Musical at Chapman University's College of the Performance Arts. She is also a resident director at Fullerton College, directing 1-2 shows a year as well as producing an annual New Works Showcase, showcasing the original work of student playwrights in an all student collaborative production. She just finished producing this years annual 2 night showcase in a Live Virtual Format, the new work can be viewed on Youtube under Fullerton College Theatre Arts Resident Theatre Company's Youtube page.
While Candice has been working as a Professor/Producer/Director and Choreographer, she still makes time to pursue her own performing career. Theatre Credits Include: Maureen in Rent, Tribe/Ronnie/Dionne in Hair, Sally Bowels in Cabaret, Lin in The Great American Trailer Park Musical and Bebe in A Chorus Line.
