James Ogilvie(II)

He was born Jim Paul Ogilvie in Washington D.C. His father was a radio DJ and his mother who was a high school drama teacher.
He first caught the acting bug at age 11. Playing the paperboy in a high school production of "Our Town"
He started training in the martial arts at the age of 12 in Tae Kwon Do. Then he moved on to Kung Fu and T'ai Chi at the age of 20.
A couple of years later he moved to California in the pursuit of his acting and stuntman career.
Doing low-budget movies, local commercials and theater. Training with some of the top martial artists and under the tutelage of a stunt coordinator. He got his breakout role in "The Silence of the Lambs" as an FBI Cadet with Jodie Foster.
He went on to study acting at Playhouse West in North Hollywood in the Meisner technique under Jeff Goldblum. Learned so much from Jeff, he was a great teacher.
He went on to study advanced martial arts with Grand Master John Bright-Fey a 12th generation Shaolin Temple Priest. In Kung Fu and T'ai Chi, furthering his stuntman training.
He teaches T'ai Chi at various locations public and private lessons.
