Robin Roberts returned to work after an absence from Good Morning America last week but may have been dealing with some difficulties.
The GMA anchor returned for Monday’s episode of the morning show and was back again on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Roberts usually shares a morning message and prayer with fans and followers each weekday.
Before she missed Friday’s GMA, she shared a cryptic message with fans.
Wednesday’s video message on her Instagram was also a bit cryptic, as Roberts seemed to relate to what she had to say.
After wishing everyone a good morning, including her Glam Fam crew, Roberts admitted she was “having one of those mornings.”
Roberts tells fans: ‘I’m having one of those mornings’
“Petula and I were sharing. She had her day yesterday. Today is my day,” Roberts shared.
“But you know what? We’re here. Right, Petula?” she said, asking her Glam Fam stylist.

In the latest bid to break out of the mid-agency pack, APA has formed a strategic partnership with Europa Content, the boutique literary and production company founded by Marc Gerald.
The goal is to expand APA’s intellectual property and media rights division led by Steve Fisher and Debbie Deuble Hill and to increase resources for both APA and Europa Content clients and creators across all media.
Having access to a publishing house has been a key engine of growth for many agencies, allowing for cross-company collaborations and access to content and intellectual property. APA sees it as a next step as it seeks to position itself apart from the mid-agency level and attempts to position itself as an alternative to top-tier agencies such as CAA, UTA and WME.
“We are thrilled to expand our shared business with Marc and his incredible team at Europa Content,” said Kyle Loftus, head of content development at APA.

When LeAnn Rimes says “I’m not one for small talk”, she means it. On the phone to the singer at her home in Los Angeles, it quickly becomes clear that this is someone who, unlike other polished pop stars, favours big issues over hollow platitudes. For the past couple of years, the singer, actor and all-round megastar has also done what many other pop stars have done: start a podcast. But hers goes deeper than most.
In Wholly Human, Rimes digs into the human psyche and, more often than not, her emotional wounds. “Every episode is a form of therapy,” she laughs, suggesting that the concept of sharing her innermost thoughts with strangers might not be as heavy-going as it sounds.
“I’m a very curious person,” she adds. “I just wanted to have a space where I could connect with people and learn alongside them on a human level.

CBS series S.W.A.T. is winding down production today, March 16. I hear the action drama starring Shemar Moore is finishing the penultimate episode of its second season. It will have only the season finale left.
The remaining Season 2 episode’s fate is unclear but, given the gravity of the situation in the U.S. as a whole and in Los Angeles, where the Sony Pictures Television series is filmed, it is quite possible that the finale won’t shoot in time for its air date.

“The Mel Robbins Show” is set to end its run this spring after one season in first-run syndication.
The production on the syndicated talk show strip will continue through the spring to finish out the season order. The Sony Pictures Television talker bowed in September to weak overall ratings. “ ‘The Mel Robbins Show’ will continue production as planned and deliver original episodes for the entire season, however it will not be returning for season two,” Sony Pictures TV said in a statement. “Mel has had a positive impact on millions of daytime viewers and we still strongly believe in her message and the work she is doing. Two weeks into the 2019-20 season, We have the first freshman syndicated series to get a Season 2 pickup. NBCUniversal has given an early season 2 renewal to daytime talker The Kelly Clarkson Show. The hourlong syndicated program, produced and distributed by NBCUniversal Television Distribution, airs in 100% of the country on more than 200 stations, with the NBC O&Os as the core station group. The renewal will take it through the 2020-21 season.
The early renewal comes amid strong ratings for The Kelly Clarkson Show, which ranks as the No.1 new syndicated program. The show, which premiered September 9, had the strongest start to any new first-run strip in seven years with an average of 1.9 million viewers per episode. The show is in fourth place among all syndicated daytime talk shows, many of which that have been on the air for well over than a decade. In digital, the show’s social platforms...

The big series premiere for NBCUniversal’s Kelly Clarkson was not a fluke. The Week One averages for new and returning syndicated programs are in, and the new talker hosted by The Voice coach logged a 1.6 Live+Same Day national household rating for the week ending on Sept. 15, scoring the biggest debut week of any first-run strip since Disney’s Katie 2012.
The strong ratings catapulted Kelly Clarkson to the talk show elite, ranking fourth among 14 new and returning syndicated talk shows, behind only long-running juggernauts The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Live with Kelly & Ryan and Dr Phil.
Disney’s Tamron Hall (1.0), which has fewer secondary runs than Kelly Clarkson, topped in the ratings such established talkers as Wendy Williams and Dr Oz. Other than Kelly Clarkson, the Tamron Hall rating was the highest debut week for any first-run show since 2016 with the exception of the Steve Harvey reboot.

It’s a hot start for the ladies in a crowded daytime syndicated talk show field. NBCUniversal’s Kelly Clarkson premiered yesterday to a 1.9 household rating across primary runs in the metered markets. That marks the highest debut rating for a first run syndicated show in seven years, since September 2012 when Katie Couric’s Katie and Steve Harvey opened with a 2.8 and 1.5 Hh rating, respectively.
Kelly got a lot of attention when her first scheduled guest, Kevin Hart, had to pull out after a car accident and pal Dwayne Johnson stepped in to replace him and provide an update on his condition. The show, which also featured Steve Carell introducing the American Idol winner and The Voice coach, improved +36% over lead-in and +73% over the year ago (Sept. 2018) time period.
That time period is 2 Pm, leading to The Ellen DeGeneres Show, on most NBC stations that aired Steve Harvey‘s successor,...

Drew Barrymore is taking another stab at daytime television. The actress is shooting a pilot for a potential syndicated daytime talk show this week in New York, we hear. Barrymore also would be an executive producer on the show for CBS TV Distribution, which would be under consideration for the 2020-21 season if it gets a green light, we hear.
CBS would not comment.

RuPaul Charles’ daily syndicated talk show has been picked up by Fox Television Stations for a three-week test run this summer.
Titled RuPaul, the project, produced by Telepictures, was one of the high profile new syndicated hopefuls for a fall 2019 launch. In a crowded space where most major station groups went for shows from their vertically integrated companies, it was tough for RuPaul, which comes from independent studio Warner Bros., to land a spot.
But Fox Television Stations, which has been open to programs from outside studios and has been ramping up its limited-run pickups as the group is embarking on life as a key part of the slimmed-down post-merger Fox, had been interested and, after months of conversations, the station group closed a deal for RuPaul.
The talker will premiere June 10 and will air Monday through Friday on select Fox TV stations, including Wnyw in New York and Kttv in Los Angeles.
