Hilary Smith has been appointed to lead NBC Universal’s corporate communications, the company announced Wednesday. The exec who formerly served as the senior vice president of corp comm at USA Network will take the role vacated by Cameron Blanchard, who left NBC for a post at Conde Nast. Smith will assume her new role in January and will report to executive vice president Adam Miller.
