- Brenda Jo Reutebuch was 50 years old when she filmed her very first film role, Grandma Violet Miller in, "This Promise I Made".
- Brenda Jo's first film opportunity, "This Promise I Made", was originally just supposed to be as set dressing-photos of the grandmother who passed away. But after meeting the screenwriter at the photo shoot, flashback scenes were written, so that Grandma Violet became an actual part of the film.
