Originally from Brittany and now based in the North East of England,
Magali is an experienced photographer, camera operator and creative
self-shooting Director / Producer.
Her work has taken her to many countries such as Singapore, Nepal and The Philippines as well as France and Ireland. Magali has been commissioned to produce, direct and film numerous short documentaries and dramas for educational purposes and multi-media exhibitions.
She also worked as Lead Artist on participatory projects, during which, two books 'I see, you don't see' and 'A Day In Our Lives', were published.
Now, the director of Provenance Films, Magali's motto is to make authentic, observational, emotional and narrative-led films about people, where they come from and what they value.
Magali has recently completed her latest venture, Addicted to Sheep, her debut indie feature documentary about a tenant hill farming family who live 1300 feet above sea level in The North Pennines.
