Arturo Fonts
- Actor
Hailing from the sunlight beaches of Venezuela, Arturo has always
wanted to be an actor. When he moved to the United States in 2001 he
already begun to plan ahead, and played as Woodstock in Lionheart
Theatre's 2005 edition of A Charlie brown Christmas. After that, on a
perfectly normal day, he asked his mother, "When are we moving to
California?". Mom was obviously surprised by this and asked why.
"Because here in Atlanta I won't get any jobs, Hollywood is where the
big money is". Little did he know that Atlanta would soon become a
center of the film industry. Instead of going with the drastic decision
of moving to California, his mom decided to enroll him in acting
classes with Talento Latino. With the help of Tony Guerrero, Arturo was
able to establish a strong foundation for his future acting career. At
the end of the acting course Arturo was scheduled for an audition with
the agency People Store. In 2011 Arturo was admitted into People Store
and since that moment he has had the opportunity to work with a variety
of people in the Atlanta area. His first job was with Fugo Studios, for
the 2012 48-Hour Film Project. His portrayal of young Julio and his
signature brown curls captured the attention of Malek Jandali, a
customer of Fugo Studios. Arturo's performance in the music video
depicting the oppressive powers of totalitarian rulers caught the eye
of many producers in the Atlanta area. Now Arturo is constantly busy
with all sorts of works; ranging from commercials to television shows.
