Kaley Cuoco has perfected the meet-cute through endless starts to a budding romance with Pete Davidson.
Peacock original film “Meet Cute” is a time-traveling romantic comedy starring “The Flight Attendant” Emmy nominee Cuoco as Sheila, a perfectionist who is looking for her ideal happily ever after with Gary (Davidson). The modern twist on “Groundhog Day” takes a dark turn as Sheila reveals in the trailer she has to kill her other self to not exist in the same timeline, and that she hopes to take away Gary’s painful trauma to make him the perfect partner. “Meet Cute” premieres September 21 on Peacock.
The official synopsis reads: “When Sheila and Gary meet, it’s love at first sight — until we realize their magical date wasn’t fate at all. Sheila’s got a time machine, and they’ve been falling in love over and over again. But when the perfect night is never quite enough,...

Exclusive: Lez Bomb is Jenna Laurenzo’s directorial debut and her follow-up to her short film Girl Night Stand, which went viral online, garnering well over 2M views on Youtube, then was translated into other languages by lesbian fans from around the world and ended up, surprisingly, having a big Chinese following. The multi-generational story about two women coming out stars Cloris Leachman, Bruce Dern, Kevin Pollak and Steve Guttenberg and is exec produced by Bobby Farrelly. Watch an exclusive clip above.
The project started in earnest when Laurenzo was on the festival circuit with Girl Night Stand and Farrelly saw her short and read Lez Bomb and wanted to come aboard. The comedy is about a young woman (Laurenzo) who comes home for Thanksgiving with some life-changing news. Little does she know, the eccentric cast of characters that make up her extended family have their own stirring surprises as well.

"90210" and Excision star AnnaLynne McCord has signed on for the revenge thriller Scorned alongside Titanic star Billy Zane and Viva Bianca from Starz's "Spartacus."
Per The Wrap, McCord and Zane will play Sadie and Kevin, a couple whose romantic weekend at a lake house takes a sideways turn when a text message from Sadie's best friend (played by Bianca) to Kevin reveals a lurid love affair between the two, sending Sadie on a vengeance spree. The director is Mark Jones, the creator and director of the Leprechaun horror-movie series, who co-wrote the screenplay with Sadie Katz.
Jones likened the project to "sophisticated" thrillers such as Fatal Attraction and Misery: "Having done horror with comedy, I wanted to delve into something more sophisticated along the lines of Fatal Attraction and Misery and develop a multi-dimensional, twisted character in our lead villain (McCord), who I feel brings an original and incredibly unique take on her character.
